I was excited... Until I looked at the gameplay... Light and L look very good but it seems we play as these toy puppet thingies...
The game seems to be Online only too with no option for Offline play... Oh well...
A Death Note themed version of Among Us isn't a bad idea. But the aesthetic of playing as weird little lego people is an odd choice.
I wonder if this is a prelude to a new Death Note anime being made
It looks like Among Us: Death Note style. Which could be fun. I didn't follow the Japanese in the trailer well enough to see what nuances in gameplay make it different to Among Us and other group "detect the killer" games.
The dolls you play as do seem strange, but I would still play it if only it had offline play. I hate more and more how games are all online, I even heard that the Sims 5 (whenever it comes out) is going to be all online. I think it's a shame.
But you're right, Light and L look very good here.
Aw man this takes me back. Probably the only anime I ever really enjoyed before realising how creepy that stuff tends to be.
This looks fun provided L’s side don’t dramatically die only to be replaced by annoying Bishy anime boys who have better info with less work and were never foreshadowed at all but somehow get it all tied up.

Spoilers I did love the fact Light beat L - I thought it was so unexpected and a great ending to be honest. Everything after just felt incredibly rushed.LL
I had no problem with Light beating L either. I just hate that L's replacements sucked. 🤣
