I am about to start my first vegetable garden. I have gardened before, but only flowers.
The sunniest part of our property is our back porch so we have a 2ft by 4ft container thing. Husband just built it, just waiting on soil to arrive.
But... It's still not fully sunny. Some times of the day it will indeed be in full sun, but other times is more mottled.
We want to try growing some things that say "full sun" because they seem more fun for the toddler to pick and eat. For example, I know some leafy greens grow in partial but my toddler is not going to be enchanted by that.
If we don't have enough sun, will nothing grow? Or will we just get a lower yield (which is fine)? Or something else entirely?
