Advice WantedDoes nyjer seed really not attract rats?
I really really really want a bird feeder but last time we wound up with a rat problem. I mean to be fair the rats were already in the neighborhood thanks to constant development in the area, but we didn’t see them in our yard until we got a bird feeder.
But I think birds are super cute and want to be able to care for them and take pictures of them, so I’d love to have a feeder again. I did a Google search and apparently rats don’t like nyjer seed. Is this true? Have any of you had luck deterring rats?
