How wonderful!

I planted some tomato seeds to be growing in spring, but they only decided to sprout during the last few weeks. XD I will grow them through winter, and hope for some early harvest next season instead.

Thanks for the tip on the type, I do love very small fruit. Perhaps I will give these a try next time.

Freshly picked tomatoes are one of the best things in the world.

How do they taste? I love cherry tomatoes, are they similar?

Pretty sweet, I'd say they are similar to cherry tomatoes. TBH, I'm not big on raw tomatoes, but my daughter absolutely loves these

I cook with them as well, and I also have a dehydrator and dry them.

These were from a freebie sample pack of seeds and I had no original plan to grow them, but boy did they grow well. These are all of them I've picked in the last few days, minus all the ones that my 3yo ate before I could get them inside. There's tons still on the vines too.

Holy shit, where in the world did you get pea tomato seeds? I grew up eating them when I was a little girl in South America, we called them tomatillos silvestres, which basically means little wild tomatoes. We used to go up into the hills and pick them, much how people will pick wild blackberries or cloudberries. I have never seen seeds for them. Literally never... I haven't had them in years, since my last visit to my home country, and even then, they are getting harder and harder to find. That is so amazing!

I don't even like tomatoes, and this makes me want to eat those tomatoes!!!

They burst in your mouth, don't they?

I want them

Tokenmom [OP]September 2, 2024

They do indeed burst
