The agastache golden jubilee will not disappoint you! It’s so beautiful and smells like root beer!!!
Yes, I'm excited to watch all the bees visiting this one and hope it will do well in part sun.
They are going to LOVE IT!!!! It’s going to be a bee orgy! I have a ton of agastache in my yard (it’s one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite, perennials) and it attracts bees by, I kid you not, the thousands! Adult bees and wasps as well as their kids. I actually made a list last year of all the different species that visited my agastache:
Butterflies:
Moths:
Bees:
Wasps:
Beetles:

I love that you made a list of agastache visitors. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful flowers!
Do I spot a Baker Creek package there?
I'm so jealous - I'm in Europe and they don't ship here anymore. Those peas look way cool!
Select Seeds is my favorite - always a great selection available, things I can't get anywhere else and superior germination rates. I had the Benary's Giant Wine last year and they were gorgeous and lasted till first frost.
Pretty! Do you separate the flowers or mix in? I'm trying to learn how to co-plant for soil health.
I have one long raised bed and two smaller raised beds and some other areas that I plant in. The longest bed has most of the vegetables, although I will usually mix calendula, nasturtium and herbs in with them. A smaller raised bed will have primarily flowers and possibly tomatoes and peppers, depending on what I'm rotating this year (last year the tomatoes were in the long bed, so I'll be moving four of them to this shorter bed). The rest of the garden is perennials, annuals, and shrubs. I tend to reinvent the wheel each season because I love experimenting and watching something new take form.
Best of luck!!! I've tried growing a number of seed (new to this) and the only thing that took off for me were cactus seedlings that eventually started dying :') Those look beautiful, I hope you get gorgeous blooms!
Your garden will be beautiful! 😍 And that melon looks so much like a pupkin. I love it!
Yes, starting seeds this time of year helps me to endure the cold, overcast days of spring as I fantasize about a lush and verdant summer.
Ooooh what zone are you in?
I'm in Zone 5b, and have a decent yard but trees all around, so I have to be strategic with full sun varieties.
Just thought I'd share some seed inspiration today... I'll be growing other vegetables, flowers, and herbs but these were purchased this year and I'm getting excited to start sowing.
