Attorneys for the state argued that health care, under the amendment, didn't include abortion.

How do they justify that one??

I mean they tell me my teeth and eyeballs are somehow not covered as healthcare either, so why the fuck not just throw darts at an anatomical diagram to decide which body parts do count.

It's terrible, I know, that "teeth and eyeballs" made me laugh.

It’s insane how much dental and vision care cost, and they’re always left off of standard insurance plans!

Because it doesn't affect men??

I don't know. It makes no sense to me either.

Abortions literally keep women from dying of eclampsia, or allow them to get treatment for cancer and other diseases that would otherwise be contraindicated. I'm just baffled how none of that counts as health care.

I know. Abortion as an intervention is safer than pregnancy.

But then we are living in "what I tell you three times is true" times, where people believe that strength loudness of assertion >> strength of evidence.

One of the worst parts of a 24-hour "news" cycle.

Wyoming's abortion ban is especially awful when you learn that 19th Century Wyoming allowed women to vote in all local and state elections in an effort to bring more women to the state.
