She broke up with me

My girlfriend just broke up with me. It really hurts, it came out of nowhere to me. I thought we were good. We just had four months together. We came from different cultures (I’m white & she’s South Asian) though I thought that wasn’t a problem because I just wanted to learn all about her, including her culture. I planned on getting cookbooks & did a lot of reading to understand her heritage. Her parents are really strict & I guess she wanted to break up before it got to serious so it would hurt less if/when they found out? She said she needed to work stuff out, I always said I was there to support to her, & that we were at different stages, which never occurred to me that we were because to me we weren’t. She said it wasn’t because of me or anything I did. I miss her so much, I love her. I was working on her birthday present, I just updated her playlist, she called me her nickname for me this morning. I don’t know what I’m meant to do.

Also, this is not the post I planned on making though I’ll get there.

Just full on hate from wokebros and TW. The misogyny is quite something to behold. Mumsnet was trending today and the view from bots is that it’s a ‘radicalised group of extreme fascists’. I’m surprised they don’t suffocate under the weight of their own hyperbole.

No selfies or other sharing of personal identifying information; no spam; and no self-promotion.
No using the exclusivity of the circle in bad faith towards/about the rest of the site, its content, or other users, who cannot respond if they've been misunderstood or misrepresented.
