Last year's lesbian visibility day is what first started peaking me
Posted April 27, 2021 by Roseelesbian in Lesbians

I first began to peak when it was lesbian visibility day last year and everyone was talking about he/him, they/them, and bi lesbians. I tried so hard to understand it and accept it, but I just couldn't. That's when I started to peak. It would a long time before I actually fully peaked, but here I am today celebrating true lesbians! The homosexual females! ♀️♥️♀️🙏👏

He doesn't want to tell you about his porn habit, so short-shorts it is.

[Deleted]December 21, 2022

It’s probably some really weird stuff, like sissy hypno.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

"well its not socially acceptable for men to wear it and i dont want to get made fun of so atleast if i transition id be more respected and people will see me as a regular girl wearing shorts"

Oh dear oh dear, who's gonna tell him...

[Deleted]December 21, 2022

When men say they want to be women, they’re always talking about wanting to wear certain clothes or wanting to magically become an attractive woman. Sometimes they have pregnancy and lactation fetishes, but they’re all AGP. There’s no substance whatsoever to their desire to be the opposite sex, it’s as shallow and fetishistic as can be.

[Deleted]December 21, 2022

Bingo. I always see beauty as a contingency of their desires. "Sure, I would love to be a beautiful woman" for example. It's so common, that it's revealing of the fact that they just want to become the person they would be most attracted to.

What's funny is you can blow his mind by showing him 70's - 90's men's casual fashion. I mean, look at the men on Murder She Wrote. They were practically wearing booty shorts- fashion comes and go. Also... no one will see him as a regular girl wearing shorts. They'll see him as a porn addict living up a sexist stereotype. Instead of giving him the funny eye, now people will steer their children away from him :D ! Fucking brain dead assholes.

It's like when I met a woman that said she was a "they/them" because she wanted people to see her "more than just a girl." Like, great job throwing all the other women under the bus as npcs so people can see you as a "stupid girl" instead.

They care so much how other people perceive them and yet never think how they actually look. Perhaps they are just sexist and think other people have perceptions just as shallow and gender conforming as them.

SecondWaverDecember 20, 2022

I mean, look at the men on Murder She Wrote.

Hello fellow fan! And the women’s fashion on MSW was exactly how TIFs today dress and call it masculine. People today have such historical ignorance.

ProxyMusicDecember 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

You've reminded me of the epic moment in television history when Murder She Wrote went to Hawaii so Jessica could come to the aid of Magnum P.I. after he'd been framed for two murders. Per usual, Jessica cracked the case and saved the day for the mansel in distress.

Here's a photo of the two television sleuths in which Tom Selleck is wearing a fashionable "casual workday" pair of short shorts with a belt, pleats and pockets. Plus his Hawaiian shirt is tucked into the shorts, very spiffy. Meanwhile, Jessica is wearing a blazer and skirt at the beach. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0653548/mediaviewer/rm713498113/?ref_=tt_md_1

Apricot_IbexDecember 21, 2022

This is such an epic photo. 🙌 They both look amazing. Peak 80s right here.

The fashion by the time I got to high school in the ‘00s was boring in comparison, especially for guys.

SecondWaverDecember 21, 2022

I watch Magnum too! It comes on after Murder She Wrote in the wee hours of the morning. Maybe the cure to gender ideology is an 80s TV show binge-watching prescription.

That photo is incredible by the way. Tom Selleck (despite his political leanings) was a very good looking man.

ProxyMusicDecember 21, 2022

On COZI, TV, MSW is on at 5 and 6 am my time, followed by 3 episodes of Quincy M.E. at 7, 8 and 9 am. Heaven, LOL.

On Saturdays, COZI has Columbo on both in the morning and Prime Time evening. Woo hoo!

Now if I could only find reruns of Cagney & Lacey and Designing Women.

RuneOwlDecember 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

When you’re so insecure and such an irrational slave to gender roles you do this weird shit just to wear practical clothes for the weather.

Great job smashing that binary.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

like has he not seen the men of the 70s who wore short shorts?

As a teen I used to "study" old soccer and basketball games as a pretext for ogling male legs in short shorts, keke.

NovemberinthechairDecember 20, 2022

High five. I can appreciate finely toned male thighs.

maypearlDecember 20, 2022

You should "refresh" your "studies" by watching Australian footy games. They've got men in booty shorts practically clamouring over each other.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022

Thats what modern men do for "studying" volleyball for women

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

I hope he gets ruthlessly made fun of for being such a sexist moron.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

I found another comment on ovarit which highlights this pheonomena

even though masculine women do absolutely face judgement, I think the judgement for truly feminine boys is worse. Which is to say that seeing a man with super long hair, flouncing down the street in a dress, is something that no one accepts. We only accept it insofar as to call it cross dressing. When a woman wears a "boy cut" and does masculine things like enjoy cars, we don't say she's cross dressing, even if some will say she's trying to look like a man. Sooo I don't really think the tide will change until this is addressed. The fact is, seeing a boy in a princess dress is weird. He doesn't look "pretty," because that delicate silhouette isn't suited to even the most "delicate" of men. However many traditional garments like Japanese clothes or togas, or even freakin fantasy wizard robes, can look "pretty" on men. They have a draping silhouette instead of the usual pants/shorts.

ProxyMusicDecember 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

seeing a man with super long hair, flouncing down the street in a dress, is something that no one accepts

Definition of flounce from Oxford:

go or move in an exaggeratedly impatient or angry manner: he stood up in a fury and flounced out.

move with exaggerated motions: she flounced around, playing the tart and flirting

I dunno if he flounced when walking down the street, but when Jesus walked on water and said "turn the other cheek" and also when he wept, he is said to have had super long hair and to have been wearing a dress.

https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/listing/600454674/jesus-walking-on-water-counted-cross

Yes, Jesus was persecuted in his time. But not for his long hair or clothing. Also, he seems to have become widely accepted by people all around the world in the years since since his death.

IIRC, no one had an issue when men like David Bowie, Marc Bolan, Brian Eno and even Rod Stewart wore long hair, makeup, jewelry and various items of clothing made for women and they went flouncing around in public that way. No one batted an eye when Kurt Cobain wore dresses, when Dave Grohl appeared on stage wearing only a bra as a top, and when all of Nirvana posed for a magazine wearing skirts.

Lipsy•____•December 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

This story has the potential to peak thousands of people immediately, by propelling them towards the insight that "gender" is fundamentally nothing but a grab bag of /1/ regressive sexist stereotypes and /2/ clothing choices (which also conform to regressive sexist typecasts).

...Florida huh?
The funny thing is how much LESS relief he'll get from outfits with less coverage than he would in a place with less humidity (read as: "almost anywhere else in the US").
At night, when the relative humidity down there reliably hits 100 percent (once there's dew condensing on the ground), baring extra skin literally makes zero difference in this regard, since at that point it's impossible for sweat to evaporate to cool off exposed skin.

like has he not seen the men of the 70s who wore short shorts?

Le sigh, I love me a nice pair of statuesque boytype legs, and i honestly adore the glam-rocker style that effortlessly incorporates womenswear pieces. But it all comes crashing right the fuck down if he "identifies as a woman".

wishforsanityDecember 20, 2022

It sounds like he has AGP. I think he's giving you a little crumb of truth. I'm sure these men's shorts are pretty cool and breezy. I mean men really are the people who should be wearing the short shorts, since they're always complaining about being too hot!

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

I mean i understand why short shorts may be more comfy and stuff but you don't need to freaking change your whole identity just to wear them. Thats just giving into sexist expectations on "gendered" clothing.

wishforsanityDecember 20, 2022

Yeah, I think he's lying. However, this does remind me of real HR complaints at a tech company I worked for from guys who were angry that women could wear short skirts to work but the poor men weren't allowed to wear shorts. Let them wear skirts or shorts to work in my opinion. Women aren't ruling men's fashion. They won't like the way they have to sit, though.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

Tbh the HR complaints were done rightfully so. I think its silly that people still assume some clothes belong to a certain sex while others of the opposite cannot wear it

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

I've never found short shorts comfy. Sitting on a public bench with your actual ass cheeks on the bench is unpleasant to me. Men's shorts are very comfy to me.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

I have bought mostly men's shorts for decades now for this very reason.

WokeuplateDecember 20, 2022

Agreed. Of course he’s lying about his full motivation.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

Maybe he could have transitioned into a man of 1978.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022

Yeah! All you have to do is say "i identify as a 78'er". We should not be giving them ideas though...

aelloDecember 20, 2022

I don't feel bad for people who are this stupid.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

I've noticed at my son's high school that more boys are wearing short shorts this year. Some of these boys look like they rolled straight out of 1985 with their tiny little jogging shorts. I've even seen a couple of mullets floating around.

I guess they didn't hear (yet) that they must be "girls" first.

I never paid much attention to how Jenner looked before he went TIM, but he sure did look so much better as a (non-trans identifying) MAN dressed like that than the repulsive charade he runs around in today.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022

yeah and atleast he was serving as an example destroying sexist notions on clothing but now he just gave into it by "identifying" as a woman.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

Bruce looked so good then.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

Ya, long shorts for men is a fairly recent development.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

Or rather a fashion return. In the 70s we used to call long shorts "war shorts" like what our grandfathers wore in the Pacific theater. They were deeply uncool.

ProxyMusicDecember 21, 2022

I remember calling long shorts mostly Bermuda shorts. My father used to have seersucker and linen summer suits which came with a suit jacket, long trousers and Bermuda shorts.

The long khaki military shorts we called British military or Gurka shorts.

https://www.heddels.com/2018/04/a-short-read-on-gurkha-shorts/

They were deeply uncool.

Wut? I wore khaki Gurka shorts purchased from Army Navy surplus stores in the 1970s - and I was pretty cool. Or so I like to think. My favorite ones came from Australia. The pleats and baggy legs were very flattering. Also, they had lots of pockets.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022

Is that why bruce jenner turned trans LOL

wishforsanityDecember 20, 2022

I think that was just the men's athletic style back then. Bruce.... who knows! https://images.app.goo.gl/yNvA8nA4s4Fp4Z5t9

AlwaysOrdduDecember 20, 2022

I mean, he should talk to my dad's basketball shorts when I was a kid. That's quite a sight with tube socks rolling behind a push mower in the summer.

PriestessoftheWindsDecember 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

You should have seen my TiM cousin at a recent family gathering-- wearing booty shorts he kept hiking up the whole time. In front of BLOOD RELATIVES.

They all transition solely because they want to be a pornified stripper anime waifu bimbo.

They're utterly irredeemable perverts.

Arsuf1991December 21, 2022

yikes what the hell. does he dress up revealingly often? if so it might be a pattern that most TiM's only dress up to try to feel "sexy"

sexyflandersDecember 21, 2022

They all transition solely because they want to be a pornified stripper anime waifu bimbo.

Like the Busty LeRoux teacher in Canada.

Def LAGP - Lazy AGP.

that excuse is CRAZY to me as someone who has actually lived in Florida...

DietCokeAddictDecember 20, 2022

I can’t believe someone this stupid could possibly exist in society - surely, SURELY he must have been joking?

yikesforeverDecember 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

everything about gender identity ideology is so freaking dumb (like "transwomen are women") and yet here we here -_- this stuff has really opened my eyes to how easily people will really believe in anything or will be intimidated to say blatently false things. it's like a mass delusion.

[Deleted]December 21, 2022

Ha. I saw short shorts for men on sale in Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski this morning. He’s lying, as if we didn’t already know that.

HermioneDecember 20, 2022

Was he trolling you? I know people have gender dysphoria because they believe in a lot of stupid things, but that’s awfully niche, highly limited in scope along with being stupid.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022

he was seriously legit as he claimed hes wanted to wear short shorts and one piece swimsuits since the age of 4 and its only now he transitioned that he can do so

Apricot_IbexDecember 20, 2022

This idiot is just a pornsick AGP, and AGPs always live by extremely rigid gender roles that objectify women.

He could easily wear whatever he wants without pretending to be a woman, and as others pointed out, men were already running around in short shorts, crop tops, and Speedos over 50 years ago!

Tons more dudes in 70s short shorts:

https://www.vintag.es/2017/02/70s-men-in-shorts-fashion-style-may.html

Dudes in crop tops:

https://www.teenvogue.com/gallery/men-wearing-crop-tops

Can we please trade the ridiculous hipster beard trend for some hot guys in retro short shorts and crop tops? 😂

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022

Its hilarious that mens options for clothing was more diverse and less gendered 50 years ago than it is now.... coincidentally nowadays is when transgenderism has become big whereas 50 years ago gender equality was getting big. Just shows how transgenderism is regressing our society.

ProxyMusicDecember 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

Look at how The Bee Gees were dressed in paisley, ruffles, flower patterns and beaded necklaces in the 1960s: https://youtu.be/DWJWWHCFPbE

Mick Jagger in a face full of make-up, pink top and tight purple velvet trousers in 1968, along with the rest of the Stones wearing flower-power patterns, bright colors including pink and purple, velvets, brocades, faux fur, paisley scarves, beaded necklaces, etc. One of the band is even wearing pink boots. https://youtu.be/Ef9QnZVpVd8

Apricot_IbexDecember 21, 2022

Their pants are all leaving very little to the imagination, lol. And the women were swooning over all of them, ruffles, velvet, and all.

This is such a boring era we’re in right now, like we’re losing all the ground made even 50 or nearly 60 years ago in terms of gender roles and true self-expression, and women’s basic rights are being rolled back right along with it.

I think the 90s or early 00s was a turning point because I remember the guys I went to school with being ultra paranoid about looking “gay” or “girly” in certain fashions. They wanted to listen to hyper “masculine,” angry, violent, misogynistic music to “prove” even further that they weren’t gay. The 90s and 00s were also when toys and kids’ clothes became super genderized in comparison to the 70s.

It was so braindead and regressive, and now pile 20-30 more years of internet pornsickness onto it, and we get the current trans “movement.”

I mean, (some) dudes are now okay with wearing skinny jeans again, but anything “girlier” 🙄 than that and they’re all on trans Reddit talking about their “egg cracking” because of some stupid anime porno they watched or how they love pink.

ProxyMusicDecember 21, 2022

I see you noticed Barry Gibb's "package" in his striped trousers that were quite snug in the crotch. It's one of the reasons I really get a kick out of that video. Beautiful song, and great voices too.

Amongst my fave photos from back in the day is a hilarious one from the early 70s of Andy Mackay of Roxy Music wearing trousers that are even tighter in the crotch and leave even less to the imagination than Barry Gibb's crotch-huggers of 1967. And one of Bryan Ferry from the 70s where he's wearing loose trousers that still can't hide the fact that he has a massive boner. I blush just thinking about it.

now pile 20-30 more years of internet pornsickness onto it, and we get the current trans “movement.”

Porn only first began to explode on the internet about 15 years ago, I believe. A lot of different technological advances and innovations had to occur and come together for it to become possible for the average person to be able to watch video via the internet - and even more innovations were required for people to have the portable wireless devices - laptops, tablets, smart phones - that made watching video porn in the privacy of their bedrooms, bathrooms or man caves feasible for the masses. After all, YouTube was only founded in 2005 and Pornhub was only founded in mid-2007.

20 and 30 years ago, most people still had desktop computers that were physically tethered to wired internet connections that were often relatively slow and low-volume. Fiber optics internet connections allowing for high-speed and high volume transmission of data-dense material like color photos and video streamed from the internet; routers and wifi; video compression algorithms; much more powerful, faster and higher capacity CPUs; much improved screens on computers tablets and smart phones... all of these innovations and advances had to come into play and come together to make it possible for the average man and boy to watch video porn in settings private enough for them to masturbate to it - and to do so whenever they want, often many times a day/night.

PtarmagantDecember 20, 2022

A) You will not be more respected. If people don't openly mock you out loud, it's because they don't want to lose their jobs and become pariahs because of the terrorist trans mob. B) People will not see you as a regular girl, in shorts or not.

If that were really the reason, all he'd have to do is wear knee-high white socks with coloured stripes on top and he'd become Mr.Retro, and it would be A-OK, especially if he wore them with an old concert shirt and some aviator sunglasses.

Committing_TerveryDecember 20, 2022

Sir, this just simply isn’t true. It is a fantasy. They see you as a freak.

Arsuf1991December 20, 2022

sadly so called "cis allies" will defend them to no extent and welcome them with open arms.

SesostrisDecember 21, 2022(Edited December 21, 2022)

Shows the cowardice of the movement. Yes, some of these men are doing this because they are uncomfortable with the social norms expected of men. Instead of fighting those norms directly, as women did (to go to uni, to wear trousers etc etc), they take the easy route and say they are women, which keeps the norms intact.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

RaghailleDecember 22, 2022

Should have told him he could take up Gaelic (Irish) football as a hobby ... The men wear short shorts.

Irish male TV star rocking them in London (where the paparazzi mistook them for a fashion statement! 😂)

Iota_AurigaeDecember 20, 2022

Not socially acceptable? Be the fucking change you wish to see, then.

PriestessoftheWindsDecember 20, 2022

Lol but that would be too difficult for these cowards. It's way easier for men to colonize womanhood and hide behind our skirts.

LilianHDecember 20, 2022

Reading the title of this thread the first place my thoughts went to was 1980s football star Warwick Capper who wore famously short shorts.

spinstahDecember 21, 2022(Edited December 21, 2022)

Oh no, when I was a girl, my favorite shorts were a pair of boys cargo shorts because they were durable, not see-through, had deep pockets, and actually covered my legs so that I could move without worrying about flashing anybody! A bunch of girls wore them so that we could make it socially acceptable. Some times I didn't even wear a bra! And to think that I have been living in the wrongly-assigned-sex-at-birth all this time! Ah, misguided youth.

NovemberinthechairDecember 20, 2022(Edited December 20, 2022)

I remember when male basketball players wore short shorts. It was awesome. Life existed before 2010.

[Deleted]December 20, 2022

The whole thing is sexist. Being a “woman” comes down to conforming to stereotypes.

How else does one “become” a woman? What changes besides that?
