I've been going through a list of lesbian books on Goodreads the past few weeks. I read The Color Purple, which I don't recommend, personally.
But I DO want to recommend author Sarah Waters! She wrote Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith, both of which I read. She also wrote Affinity. Fingersmith is the inspiration for the Korean film The Handmaiden. And there are BBC drama adaptions of Tipping the Velvet as well as Fingersmith! (And maybe Affinity?)
Anyway, I liked Tipping the Velvet so much I bought a physical copy. I very highly suggest it to you all here!
