I should’ve turned it off with regards to how depressing and dark it got in the beginning but sadly I won’t be getting that hour back.

So I then watched an old comedy special and had a good laugh. Definitely needed it after this movie.

I just watched a German film called “Happy End”, and it was just completely full of gay angst. I thought the plot maybe would’ve led itself to something a bit more fulfilling, but it just really overly focused on death, the lead characters didn’t have a happy ending, and it just was sad.

So don’t watch that movie unless you like that kind of angst in films.

I have more to add tbh!

I just watched two more movies so you gynes don’t have to…honestly hours I won’t get back but nonetheless:

I decided to watch Heartland, the 2016 movie, and it left a lot to be desired. I didn’t even finish the film because there was an unnecessary scene in the plot where the lead lesbian character runs back to a man.

This other movie was a foreign film, an Ecuadorian movie titled “Take me for a ride”, and it finished without closure and it’s plot revolved around the couple’s battle against homophobia

Are you open to watching any shows? I’d recommend the new-ish A League of Their Own if you haven’t seen it yet! It’s on Prime Video :)

I have watched that show actually! And I wasn’t too enthralled with it.

I couldn’t get into the characters, the writing was lackluster, and the only redeeming quality it had was the latina tomboy

Is that the one by Michael Haneke? It's a kind-of sequel to Amour and that one isn't a fun time either. Both are great movies though!

No derailing or hijacking. This refers to posting a comment that is unrelated to the topic of the post, which often kills the original discussion.
No pornography. NSFW posts must be marked as such.
No selfies or other sharing of personal identifying information; no spam; and no self-promotion.
No using the exclusivity of the circle in bad faith towards/about the rest of the site, its content, or other users, who cannot respond if they've been misunderstood or misrepresented.
