On another note, I started playing this yesterday about 6pm and turned it off at 3am. It's such a blast and definitely so much fun it just makes time disappear.
Yeah. For decent-sized companies, definitely. Smaller companies could get hung out to dry though, depending on exactly what service they perform and for whom, and, maybe even most importantly, how much of a small world that industry segment is (like, "could one loud person with a vendetta slice their clientele in half?" kinda thing).
On a related note, I think my favorite part is when TRAs talk in full earnest seriousness about being able to "hurt" JKR with a "boycott" 😂😂😂😂😅 like, she's worth the £ equivalent of a BILLION DOLLARS. do these little darlings even realize what is a billion?

A bunch of my friends have been online whining about how “you can’t play this game and call yourself an ally” and how they’re going to unfollow anyone who buys it. Lol, obviously you aren’t because I’ve been playing it since Thursday and having a blast. I'm not much of a gamer but I am a fan of the books, and I was always inspired by Hermione. I bought the game and am enjoying exploring the world of magic.
I may not play the whole thing but I enjoy it enough to make it worth the price, in conjunction with the value of a resounding "shut the fuck up" to the trans party.

I’m not a gamer but at this point I’m considering buying a console just to play this…. I do like HP and I can’t escape chatter about the game. It wouldn’t be hard to find a new home for the console after if I’m not converted to gaming, I’m thinking.
It kinda shows how privileged and pompous TQ is when people are expected to boycott this game but Target, Amazon, and other "Ally" corporations exploit their workers.
And if you ever bring up other games with objectively bad people at the helm, like Riot/Activision/Blizzard, etc., you get accused of derailing or "whataboutism". How can it be that when it's literally a 1:1 comparison, game to game?! God forbid you ask for some consistency with these people. It's always about them.
