Serious DiscussionThoughts on considering race when dating?
I've seen some women say they only want to date poc or their own race and I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this? I can see the benefits of having a shared culture/experience. Though with identity politics and oppression olympics or whatever, I wonder if some women of color think it's bad to date a white woman or if some white women try to seek out women of color so they're not seen as "racist". I also wonder how much of this is mostly a western problem due to certain ideologies and the fact that the population is mostly white.
(Writing this, I realize I'm not sure how to feel about the term "woman of color" or "nonwhite woman" and wonder what you all think about that too.)
