I admit I have seen only two movies, but if even with the most acclaimed and praised one like Portrait of a Lady on Fire and no one mentions wtf was that?? can we assume it's just normal standards to have freaky sex scenes between women?
And I even love touching my armpits but why would some 18th century woman be putting weed into their hairy armpits?? Then it skips to uhh fingering armpits again I guess? In a very serious and emotional movie??
I'm so wary to watch other movies now like damn I need some content warning for this.
The other movie Elisa and Marcela, again serious, historical, and in the middle of being discriminated by their little town, and they play food with their body?? And two other questionable sex scenes I remember just feeling awkward for the actresses and I hate that.
Why do they feel the need to add "artsy" elements?
