I guess it's the book covers that caught my attention and thought they would be worth a try, her books have good ratings but the first thing I saw when I typed in the author's name on google was a 2 week old post on instagram about how she recently started identifying as a she/they.

I tried to read Delilah Green Doesn't Care because of all the good reviews, however I found it insufferable. A lot of mainstream/popular FF romance just reads like mentally ill bisexual wish fulfillment. There was way too much about how charming and hot the main bisexual character's (who seems like the author's self insert) ex-husband was in Delilah Green and it really turned me off.

Can you elaborate that a bit? Do you mean the authors give you fake bisexual vibes, or like they are bisexual but still pander too much to the male gaze?
