QuestionMaking a Gender Critical Lesbian Subreddit?
I was wondering if anyone here was interested in helping me establish a gender critical lesbian subreddit? i already have one subreddit like this, but it’s private and because of that it’s kinda died. I also keep it private to protect the identity of posters there. My goal would be to make a public subreddit for GC lesbians, where we “abide” by reddits rules publicly while banning TIMs etc privately. I want to keep the subreddit around for as long as possible so this would involve having to censor certain words that reddit would detect as “transphobia”, but not to an extreme amount like other subs do. Anyone interested in helping me build/mod this?? Lmk!
But why? We have a good community here, and reddit is full of misogyny. If I want to talk with women from Ovarit, why would I go to reddit to do that?
that’s fair but ovarit isn’t active enough for me, i’m too chronically online & read everything on the front pages in like 10 mins lol. also my reddit has all my other favorite subs
Any subreddit that has tried either dies naturally due to inactivity or gets banned after being active enough to catch the attention of the admins.
... Actual lesbians who wants biological female discussion on reddit... would get their post removed by Reddit... idk if it's a good idea to use that website anymore...
Sounds good but I really really don't believe it will last long. The closest that's still going is [redacted] and I don't think it's going to stick around for much longer. Even the mild ones like lesbiangang have the admins breathing on their necks watching every step
yeah they normally don’t but i have a strategy to hopefully keep it up for longer, similar to what they do on fourthwavewomen when discussing GC topics. shoot me a dm on here if you’d be interested in modding or joining!

Just so everyone knows this poster is the mod of the Cisbians sub and invited a TIM named a Kuberr to be a mod there. Kuberr was the mod of lesbiangang who was responsible for banning many lesbians who said they didn't like dick and calling lesbians terfs, so lesbians stopped being active in Cisbians bc they didn't trust this mod anymore.
Omg are you for real? The audacity of coming on here and trying to recruit to Preddit, so more lesbians could be subjected to that TIM mod is horrific
Yep. I used to be a member of Cisbians and I left bc of the Kuberr stuff. The mod did eventually remove Kuberr and claimed to not know, but it literally took me a minute to find comments on Kuberr's account calling lesbians terfs, so I didn't trust being there anymore. Even if the mod didn't know who Kuberr was, that means there was very poor vetting which is also concerning since we all know how TIMs do anything to infiltrate our spaces.
I knew 3 other lesbians that were active in that sub that I had chatted with and they all left too bc they didn't feel like they could really trust the sub anymore. I just wanted to provide further context as to why it's probably not active anymore.
That’s honestly just a shame. It shows once again we can’t have nice things and you have to be hyper vigilant as a woman these days not only in real life, but online in order to keep ourselves safe. I’m glad the women got out of there before that TIM could do any damage. It’s extremely hard to have any lesbian sub be active on there. There’s one I know of but it’s very low in activity, and as other users here have said, that’s probably the only reason why it’s still around.
i know the kuberr situation was bad & a big oversight on my part, which is why for this new subreddit i will be modding only lesbians from ovarit with established post histories. no more accepting random mods. that was my first time making a subreddit, so i was a bit desperate to have some help from someone who i saw modded a big sub (lesbiangang)

I don't know a thing about the Reddit situation but I wouldn't put my time into such a subreddit based on SEVERAL factors contained in OP's posts.
I won't say why and give em wiggle room to perfect their lies.

sigh the kuberr situation ended months ago & he was removed the second i found out he was a TIM. with this sub, i will only be modding lesbians from ovarit to prevent this from happening again. no more modding random people who dm me, i learned my lesson smh
Frankly, this sounds like some weird ploy to connect ovarit user names to reddit user names and expose people's online identities.
