Lockdown Lovers (2023) is a lesbian film that takes place in Australia during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Crystal, a Canadian, meets a fiery, (and rather brass) Australian girl named Lisette.
The movie was actually quite good, if maybe the secondary protagonist’s stance on life was a bit abrasive. I won’t spoil the movie, but I will say it ends on a good note and it had me punching the air thankful that it DID end on a good note.
Thank you. I watched about an hour of the marvel show Angitga All Along something and didn’t know wth was going on. Also no mention of lesbians. Will give this a try.
Agatha All Along builds on a lot of previous Marvel plot, so if you haven’t seen the other stuff you’d for sure be very confused. Knowing what happens in Infinity War and End Game, watching WandaVision (the Disney+ show), and then knowing what happens in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness would probably be the minimum necessary to understand what’s going on.
So although I’m thoroughly enjoying the show (since I’ve been following the MCU from the beginning), I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who’s not into Marvel and/or who hasn’t seen enough of the preceding plot.
The show is also produced by Disney, meaning anything “gay” is unlikely to go beyond hinting and subtext unfortunately. I’m hoping to eat my words there, but tbh I doubt it.
Ah that explains it lol thank you. I was so confused and just turned it off.
Awww, haha. No problem!
Just a word of warning, the one protagonist is a bit immature, but the acting was good and the chemistry between the actresses made me be immersed
