Chit Chatanother butch ex has gone trans
title says it all. i am on good terms with this person, but we don’t live in the same area and don’t talk very much. recently i was hanging out with friends and one mentioned a name i hadn’t heard of, so i was like “who is [new name]?” a few people in the group just kind of looked at each other awkwardly and one friend was like… “ya know, your ex?” this was a male name, so i was extremely confused. apparently my ex did this big coming out thing and is a “nonbinary trans masc” person now. so another butch bites the trans dust, i guess.
i dont get on facebook that often so i missed the big reveal, just looked at it today and im cringing so hard. it sounds mean, but im embarrassed to have ever been associated with someone with such poor judgement. she’s a few years older than me, nearly 30, and buying into the gender woo.
butches are an endangered species. :/
