I'm not sure if this is the right circle to post, but I feel like it's the most relevant.
for me personally, I don't think they should be included with LGB for the following reasons -
asexuals aren't killed, ostracised, bullied etc just for being asexual. asexual women may be pressured into getting married to men, but that's just misogyny. lesbians go through the same thing, and so do basically single women of any age and orientation. ace men may be made fun of for being virgins, but that's just toxic masculinity. any virgin guy would experience that.
asexual can sometimes be not innate, as in, a trauma response. sexual trauma from childhood or any time of your life really, can cause you to be asexual, especially sex-repulsed. no amount of trauma or life experience can turn a straight person gay. that's a very important distinction, and I don't doubt that it might lead to conversion therapy narratives against gays and lesbians.
sidenote: this is personal (and maybe only happens online), but I've seen so much ace homophobia. I'm not sure if y'all noticed, but yeah. I was in a fb group that archived/pointed out examples of asexuals being homophobic, and there were asexuals in that group too. they (homophobic aces) made fun of gay men for being infected with HIV, by saying stuff like "haha, I'll never have HIV! I don't fling myself at random people" during a conversation about that epidemic, in regards to LGB issues. it was a tumblr post, I'm not sure how to find it, but the hyperlink is to a tumblr blog that points out ace homophobia. I've never used tumblr, and maybe this is just a very online phenomenon.
Okay. And I’ll go one step further for this gendy: I don’t care what you “identify” as. Full stop. It makes no difference to me what your self-appointed ID is. Just like I don’t care if the dude on the corner identifies as Emperor Napoleon, Lord of the Lentils-of-Puys. His self appointed title means nothing - just like a man (or woman) self-identifying into another sex class. I am honest about this, but trans people prefer to lie. They know they can’t really ID in/out of their sex class, and transwo-men use and abuse their male privilege all the damn time. It’s not a secret.
So as for you, Mr/Ms/Whatever. Your self-appointed title of Baron Munchausen-upon-Sex-Pest matters not. Do you produce large gametes? If so, congrats - you’re a chick. Small gametes? Then thou art a dude. Your sexuality is merely a description of whether or not you find being female/male as a bare minimum requirement for a romantic relationship. So long as everyone’s a consenting adult, nothing else matters. Now begone, and go back to whatever hellhole spawned you.

If you think you can identify out of being a woman, we are not the same. If you think men can be lesbians, we are not the same. If you think that being a lesbian is anything other than females who are same sex attracted, we are not the same.
When they say you aren't a "real lesbian", they don't mean you don't fit the definition of woman loving women (and yes, you are a woman, even if you don't want to be). What they mean is you are making zero sense because a man can not be a lesbian. You have identified yourself out of your own community.
And honestly, watching this happen over and over to young lesbians really makes me sad.

Yes, I think this is a TIF who identifies herself as a “they/them not-a-woman butch lesbian” and is on testosterone. 🤦🏻♀️
And they say the trans movement is progressive and totally not a reflection of internalized homophobia and misogyny. 🤔

Women aren’t even supposed to discuss periods, pregnancy, or breastfeeding (aka chest feeding) while using the word “women” because it’s so triggering to TIPs, but it’s a-okay when they label themselves “lesbian dudes” and they/thems? Truly some trans “logic” right here.
The people on the subreddit honest transgender HAAAAAATEE these women an insane amount, I'd say easily more than us evil terfs. There's a post every week complaining that lesbian TIFs are ruining the movement. Transbians go completely ape shit at them because i guess if these women are lesbians then it's okay to call TIMs straight, the horror! How to possibly get a boner from that!
Ooh, that’s very interesting. That’s got to make the whole transbian facade implode, the TIFs who still recognize that they are lesbian even if they deny they are women.
Imagine transbians calling themselves a “straight she/hers not-a-man” or some such. All the AGPs on r/actuallesbians would have a total meltdown. 😂 Big mask-off moment.
I'm guessing that "lesbian dude" indicates queerness and is just identity - a dude lesbian? That can't be real! Brain fry woooo scare the straights! - whereas breast-feeding and periods are actual body things that they find terrifying.
Yeah, it’s like some edgy way to be cooler and more interesting than everyone else, including those boring “cis” gay people.
I stumbled on another TRA Twitter “they/them” who declared “I’m calling out all those crusty Boomer cis lesbian TERFs who think transwomen aren’t valid lesbians!” 🙄 Meaning lesbians who aren’t attracted to men, so literally all lesbians? Ooookay.
And yep, actual biology probably “triggers” them since it still confronts them with reality. But it’s so funny that they can be “he him they them lesbian” TIFs or TIMs who talk about “girldick” and impregnating women, but we can’t talk about our own healthcare without them crying about evil transphobes triggering their dysphoria.

Let’s be real, the only reason she’s making that post in the first place is because people aren’t finding her “sexier”. If she had any real self-esteem or fulfilling relationships, she wouldn’t be yodeling into the void about how much ‘cooler’ she is. This is “I’m not like other girls” writ large with a side order of narcissism.
I think these type of people like to collect identities and tally their identities against others as a metric of oppression. She couldn't fathom giving up her lesbianism when she tacked on her trans identity.
It’s kind of morbidly fascinating from a psychological perspective. She’ll completely sell out women and throw other lesbians under the bus, but still wants to claim that specific struggle for equal rights as her own. Definitely an identity collector, and of course she’s “cooler and sexier” than those boring “cis” lesbians. 🙄
