Reminds me of the TIF I work with. She was holding a stuff plushie borrowed from one of the librarians because she wasn't feeling good and was talking in a...not exactly a baby voice but kinda like that. The frog voice makes it worse. Of course everyone was cooing her and I really wasn't having it.

This kind of infantile behaviour in your workplace makes me think she must be a patient, or client, of sorts, not a colleague, but from what I've read about genderspecials in the past ... makes me fear the worst.

LMAO yeah she is a colleague. I work at a library so I feel that area seems to attract a lot of genderspecials. She is a librarian and I have been studying her transition from a distance. So far, she just sounds like a frog and developed pretty bad rosacea on her face.

Not that I'm the most normal person ever, but I at least try to behave professionally in the workplace. If I had a nervous breakdown, I'd rather, idk, excuse myself and go home than cuddle a plushie in front of my colleagues.
(Really, I would have found that embarrassing in primary school and I had plush animals in my bed when I started university. But, you know, at home.)

For real. If someone is so upset they can't function at work, they need to go home instead of expecting their co-workers to nanny them and have plushies at the ready. My kid's preschool doesn't baby people that much!
Cool, let's stop modifying language to protect feelings then. Women's issues and healthcare can exclusively reference women, lesbians can talk about how they find dick unappealing, and males can be addressed as such.

These are the dudes who would be abusive in relationships, but now that a lot more women are aware of the behavioural red flags in men and won’t date these creepy goofs, these men have turned “trans”, and advocate for a trans-ness being such a protected “class” that no one is allowed to call them out for their shit.
Is just another way of trying to get away with being abusive to women. They can get away with the “traditional methods”, so they’re pulling this shit.

No, this isn't "DARVO" as some of the women here seem to think. To others this may look like DARVO, but I think it looks more like TROLLING. Many black women make this complaint about white people all the time. This is another example of TiMs stealing and repurposing the language used by (actual) marginalized groups in order to serve the interests of the dominant group: (mostly white) males who are so privileged by society that they get to flaunt their fetish all day long, even in front of children.
Part of the sick thrill for them is to do this blatantly (no doubt this particular TiM is a racist as well) and in a way that is so "on the nose" it's practically camp. They feel nothing but contempt for the people they are trolling and nothing brings them more sick joy than to watch a handmaiden slurp it all up like a complete idiot. For any handmaiden reading this: You are the butt of the joke, and he is winking at his mates the entire time.

Instead of the truth, some things need to be toned down to be incredibly sensitive so that it doesn’t hurt any poor [TIM’s] feelings, when the statement is complaining about the [misogynistic] behaviors of many [TIMs].
