I’ve ranted about this before, but I’m just so done with it.
Any time a discussion comes up about how gay men didn’t do enough to stop AGPs or whatever (which is fair enough, and worth calling out), it gives some GCs, radfems, terfs, an excuse to feel like they can legitimise or validate their homophobia.
I’m not stupid, I can see right through it.
Now I know that this isn’t strictly related to Loving Women, but homophobia is homophobia, and I think if you dig deep enough, these people are probably weird about lesbian and bI women too.
EDITED TO ADD. It’s comments like “gay men are still men, therefore we can’t trust them”… but somehow their Nigels are ok? Sorry but gay men are my friends, they’re not all a monolith, and describing them as such just feels so wrong.

My post is about GC discussions in general, across all forms of social media, and not referring to a specific post on Ovarit. As requested by a moderator (and I respectfully agree) please can we have this discussion about the general issue, and not about anything specific here ✌🏻

I’ve never seen cartoon (or live) child porn. I’d have to go way out of my way to look for it. Where is this dude spending time that people think it’s fine to leave CP where someone might stumble over it?
This site literally bans all pornography, as do many other 'alt' site radfems prefer to the woke tech-bro sites, like saidit, gettr, etc.
Someone once posted a link to an article about "Little" TIM Sophie Labelle and it had examples of the porny baby furries he draws in it.

I'm sorry, which radfems are posting/reposting CP? I have never see this, ever. And I would frankly consider anyone who does that to not be a radfem, because anyone spreading any kind of pornography isn't really a radical feminist, is she?
Maybe he is talking about that time that Assigned Male Comics was outed as a cartoon child pornographer, who traces over pictures of people's actual toddlers to make it.
I haven't noticed any of the trans groups I follow slowing down reposting his stuff. Huh. Weird.
The Facebook group Trans Army encourages people to write in with any content concerns, BTW. I would, but I got banned for saying gender critical women didn't think that gender and sex were the same thing so

The reblogging comment made me think he is referring to tumblr, but I follow a bunch of radfems on tumblr and they don't post porn. No idea what he is referring to.

Yeah, if Ovarit were a perfect mirror of reddit, we'd have whole subs based on the fetishization of men and transexuals being sexually attacked (IRL or as hentai) and we'd have CP and I-cant-believe-it's-not-CP (infantilized anime and furry stuff). Funnily enough, none of the female-led and women-centered spaces (including Mumsnet, Lipstick alley etc) have obsessively hoarded page upon page of porn. Almost as if being a pornsick sexual deviant usually happens to males.
