So I was intrigued by the description of this movie (streaming on peacock): an all-female jury. And I was delighted to see that both lawyers, as well as most of the jury candidates, were dark-skinned. From that point, downhill.
The male lawyer was in a suit; the female lawyer was obviously a double-D cup.
The first juror rejected was in a skintight something, the camera focused on her body; the second juror was in a red spandex body suit, same camera work.
And yet, I persisted.
Wish I hadn't. My god, but what airheads! "He's guilty, I just know it!" End of argument. "He's guilty, isn't it obvious?" When pushed for reasons, "I just feel it" was dominant. (The defendant was Asian descent; the murder victim was dark-skinned.) Racism ran rampant ...
One juror was hell-bent on making the others actually THINK about the case. And guess what. She was the only (?) white-skinned juror.
What a shame. This movie. It could've been ... It should've been ...
