There’s Something Wrong with Aunt Diane (2011)
Has anyone seen the (tw: disturbing) documentary “There’s Something Wrong with Aunt Diane”?
It’s a documentary about one of the worst car accidents in recent history. A woman driving a van with 2 of her kids and two of her brothers kids struck another vehicle head on, killing 8 people total. There was one survivor. My sisters and I watched it recently and there’s so much to talk about and I can’t get it out of my mind.
The autopsy is also available on line and I’ve been poring over it like it has answers and I’m not satisfied!
The official pathologist report states that she died totally soused on vodka and having smoked weed. She was coming home from the cottage and bringing the kids. They stopped for McDonald’s and she made one stop at a gas station looking for painkillers.
The family and all her friends say 1. She wasn’t an alcoholic, not even a secret one and 2. She would never commit suicide or do something reckless like this.
I just, as an AUNT, can’t fathom a woman getting blitzed and driving her nieces…
But the general consensus (other than the family) is that she was drunk and possibly suicidal. Why? She was the “perfect mom” apparently?
And SOME witnesses said that she looked very determined while she was driving.
Anyway if there’s anyone out there that wants to talk about this movie I’d love to know your thoughts.

I can’t understand the obsession tips have with femininity/masculinity. Most people just decorate their rooms with things they like, regardless of whether it’s feminine/masculine.

I was gonna say, that's the most teenage boy/young adult man room ever, but young men are pretty generic. All that talk about "men need personalities unlike women so they develop them young" but then they can't make a non-stereotypical decision to save their life.

NGL, this is the tidiest room inhabited by a TIM I've ever seen in my life, by a wide margin. Most of them look like the dumpster that's shared between a Game Stop and a Taco Bell.

I thought being a woman was an inherent feeling, deep down in one’s soul- so much so that these men “just know” that they’re women from childhood.
The giant whale stuffed animal 😂 why do they love that so much.
My kid saw that whale in ikea the other day and fell in love with it.
I had to very quickly nope that idea and steer him towards the polar bears. I hate that they have ruined an innocent and very cute toy.

Ugh, I looked at that photo and the only thing that could improve that is fire, and plenty of it.
Their lairs are always so gross and smelly-looking. Even with the ones that don't seem that bad, like this one, you only have to scratch the surface to reach nightmare material.
Use a garter belt to hang a light from the ceiling. Mount some tasseled boobies from plaques on the wall, taxidermy-style (fake is fine, but maybe you have a TIF friend).
Move out so that your mom can use it as a hobby room
