For those who are unaware of him or his work, Lucifer Valentine is an extreme cinema director who is infamous for creating 2006’s ‘Slaughtered Vomit Dolls’ and the subsequent ‘Vomit Gore’ films. After The Disturbing Cinema Iceberg went viral and helped Lucifer’s ‘Vomit Gore’ films garner the most attention they’ve seen in years, he soon fell under mass scrutiny due to credible allegations regarding him allegedly grooming and manipulating minors, sex workers, addicts, and fans struggling with mental illness or eating disorders.

I came across a Tik Tok about his films and noticed that it had a sizeable amount of likes and comments for something so niche and obscure. I looked to see if there were other Tik Toks about him or his work and was astonished at how many young Gen-Z fans he seems to have now. Everyone who has seen his work knows that they’re not only shitty and tryhard but just misogynistic abuse videos disguised as “transgressive experimental art”. It worries me knowing that a lot of these young impressionable fans will most likely contact him and fall into his trap.

Also, for those curious, his real name is (allegedly) Shawn Fedorchuk and he served as an editor for ‘True Blood’, ‘Kong: Skull Island’, ‘Bombshell’, and an Ice Nine Kills documentary. 🤐

This pretty accurately describes how I personally feel about Valentine's films. They are little more than plotless misogynistic abuse porn dressed up as extreme horror, with no redeeming value of any sort. However, that isn't even scraping the surface. So, I've decided to also repost two Reddit threads describing in detail the very serious allegations against Valentine, along with an article from one of his victims.

The first Reddit thread, posted in 2021 and since removed by the subreddit's jannies, is titled "Investigation into extreme film director Lucifer Valentine (GRAPHIC):

Originally from South Africa, extreme-horror film director "Lucifer Valentine" has been making surrealist exploitation-pornography for over a decade and a half. For those rehearsed in the "disturbing movies" sphere, his name will be very familiar due to his fairly unique editing style and emetophilia/vomerophilia. Needless to say, his identity is obscured and carefully hidden from the public.

Over three years ago, I was fascinated by disturbing movies and went into a rabbit hole which I would grow to regret. One of Valentine's features, the aptly named "Slow Torture Puke Chamber", featured a scene of an actress being frequently beaten on camera while detailing her very-real sexual trauma from the past, before going on to engage in acts of sexual humiliation including self-harm and, yes, emetophilia. I'll admit it; this sequence shook me up. You're probably thinking "it's just a movie, what's the deal? It's all fake". This leads on to why I'm making this post in the first place.

I was doing some further research into his work as of late due to it being brought up by a friend of mine. Upon looking into it further, more disturbing details can be found that brings this beyond the spectrum of being "disturbing cinema" into something much more sinister and concerning.

Upon his own admittance, Valentine took former adult-actress Brandy Petrie (at the age 17-19) under his wing during the mid 2000s, under the condition that she would do anything he wished her to do. This involved all the same depravities from before: sexual humiliation, emetophilia and self-harm. This was all recorded and edited into his first feature: Slaughtered Vomit Dolls. This name should be familiar to those in the loop with extreme cinema. At worst, I heard this described as "sexual abuse home movies".

Now, this must all sound quite sketchy, but Valentine was thorough in making actresses sign contracts to consent to the acts they would take part in. This makes all this information fairly useless as the consensual nature of this means it's legal; it's just a very heartbreaking situation of traumatised people subjecting themselves to further sadism, abuse, and aggressive misogyny. It's a well-known fact that Valentine uses the internet to scout for and prey on damaged women in order to cast them in his "movies". This goes on to this day.

This more-or-less concludes the need-to-know stuff. Now, let's get into why I'm making this post.

Valentine's circle of attention is very small (something that originally deterred me from saying anything as I was reluctant to provide him with any further exposure), with him often staying in the loop with things as small as YouTube comment sections and niche Facebook groups (the latter of which I do not have access to, unfortunately). Some days ago, I learned of several unconfirmed accounts that Valentine is a "monstrous" director with the potential to "break contracts" and ignore safe-words. This is mere speculation from a comment section, but the sheer, unflinching cruelty that can be found in his work made me desperate for answers. But, who knows, it's just a comment section, right? Hardly substantial evidence.

The Soska sisters, who starred in one of his features (ReGOREgitated Sacrifice) completely deny involvement with him due to his problematic behaviour. I have reason to believe that they avoid him due to his tendency to lean into sexual-predator territory, although, again, this is unconfirmed.

So why am I posting this here? The truth is, I have no idea what to do with all this information. The constant "unconfirmed" accounts, the rumours, then dead-ends and anonymity of it all; it's driving me crazy. Is it all sensationalist? Is this truly just an edgelord spouting extremely sketchy things with no back-up, with the reaction from people his full intention? Is this just a pervert and creep? Or is this something much more real that leans into illegal and/or predatory territory?

Due to film-release locations, as well as the city which the late Brandy Petrie was based, I have reason to believe Valetine is currently operating out of Vancouver. However, I've heard accounts that he's also in the loop with the Chicago sex industry. Information is, again, very conflicting.

The other major goal is to receive references from those who condemn him, particularly from those who have worked with him and/or those within the sex industry. More than anything, I feel it's worth starting this discussion.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, what really happened with the late Brandy Petrie? An adult actress-turned-vagrant who, in exchange for shelter, was asked to do anything Valentine requested as his discretion? Is this true? If so, are there any laws preventing this kind of thing?

I'm conflicted about giving this individual any further attention, but I also can't bring myself to keep my mouth shut. This needs to be talked about. It's been over a decade since most of this happened, but I still rarely see it mentioned.

UPDATE: Three days after I first made this post, I was contacted by another user who I will leave anonymous. She DMed me to claim that Lucifer Valentine had a history of abuse in the Canadian porn industry, including lawsuits. Since then, however, other people, including the person who inspired me to make this thread, have said that this is not true, and that they are two different people. Taylor Heider has herself corrected this information in her Twitter thread. For that reason, I am removing the information about the Canadian porn producer. (I have been told by the person who inspired me to make this thread that Valentine is actually a Hollywood figure, but without harder evidence, I will not be naming his name.)

The person who contacted me about the link to the Canadian porn producer also pointed me to YouTube videos by somebody who had been a fan of Valentine as a teenager, and later made new videos looking back on her attachment to his films at a low point in her life. At the request of the person in question, I will not provide direct links to the videos.

On the subject of the incest, she claims that he made that part up (more or less my view on the matter), along with his claims to being a Satanist.

Earlier today, horror influencer Taylor Heider, aka mondovideos, posted a long Twitter thread accusing Lucifer Valentine, maker of the "Vomit Gore Trilogy" of extreme horror films, of grooming and sexually assaulting a number of underage girls. The allegations are extreme. I will start with the things that Valentine himself has discussed:

• The claim that he had a sexual relationship with his own younger sister Cinderella, who was autistic and legally blind and was under his care as a result. This is an older claim, going back to statements in an interview with Punk Globe and in the behind-the-scenes features of Slaughtered Vomit Dolls in which he refers to Cinderella as his "girlfriend", claims that she hoped to one day marry him, and says that she got jealous when he was away from her and that this drove her to kill herself, and comes down largely to inference from those statements rather than a specific claim.

• Claims that he was in a domineering relationship with the films' lead actress, Brandy Petrie (aka Ameara Lavey). This is again based on Valentine's own statements to Punk Globe, saying that he had known Petrie for a while and that, after her father kicked him out of his house, she showed up at his door malnourished and strung out on drugs. Valentine says that the two entered a "24/7 Total Power Exchange relationship" where Petrie would do anything that Valentine asked in exchange for being housed and taken care of. He goes on to say that Slaughtered Vomit Dolls was born from this arrangement.

The most charitable interpretation here is that Valentine is lying. Heider believes that these sorts of things are too disgusting to lie about, but I personally think otherwise. A lot of Valentine's mystique as a filmmaker comes from his transgressive image, and claiming to do disgusting things in order to get a rise out of people is a tried-and-true tactic for burnishing that sort of image. GG Allin's career ran on shock value, Keith Richards claimed to have snorted his father's ashes, and Marilyn Manson never really pushed back against the claims about him having had some ribs removed for the purposes of facilitating oral self-gratification, which people still believe even though it's impossible.

That said, we don't have evidence that he's lying, and he never indicated that he was. If we are to take him at his word, then he sexually exploited a drug addict and, at the very least, talked about his sister in a sexual manner.

What's more, other people have shared similar stories about Valentine, and they paint a downright Victor Salva-esque image.

• Here on Reddit, three months ago a lengthy thread about Valentine was posted at r/RBI by a user who has since deleted their account, outlining various rumors about him but no specific allegations. In the comments, u/vomitgoddess claimed to know two girls who Valentine abused, one of whom claims it started when she was sixteen. Another user supplied an article by a woman claiming that, when she was 14, Valentine asked her to send him a video of her vomiting.

• The big allegation that prompted Heider to post her thread came from somebody claiming that Valentine started grooming her at the age of 13 or 14, still in middle school. This person is quick to state that Valentine did not ask her to do anything illegal, but she still found it morally wrong, especially when he promised her that she could star in one of his movies when she turned 18.

• There are also more general allegations claiming that he breaks contracts on his films and goes after minors.

This is not the first time that allegations like this have been made against Lucifer Valentine. In fact, towards the end of the thread, Heider states that Valentine has a history of harassing accusers and sending his fans after them, an allegation I have seen elsewhere. In fact, being in contact with one of the people accusing Valentine, I was asked if I was afraid of this happening to me. (My response was that, in the very recent past, I posted this thread on r/antiMLM accusing my now-former internship supervisors, people I knew personally, of hazing interns, ordering them to break anti-soliciting laws as part of their job, and being part of a multi-level marketing scheme.)

Lucifer Valentine has been a fixture of underground horror for over a decade, and has built up a measure of infamy that is at least in part a very deliberate component of his image. I believe that it is not necessarily a pose made to shock people, but a reflection of a genuinely disturbed individual who harms others in deeply intimate ways. Having spoken with one of the people making the allegations, I encourage you to share this information. If even the things that Valentine says about himself are true, to say nothing of the allegations raised by others, then he is a figure that I believe the horror community would be better off ignoring.

As I continue seeing Valentine's vile films being discussed by young women and girls online, I felt that it was necessary for me to post this thread in order to raise awareness about their true nature and to hopefully prevent any more vulnerable young women and girls from falling into Valentine's trap. I first saw Slaughtered Vomit Dolls when I was a teenager and, at the time, I didn't think anything of it other than that it was one of the most worthless pieces of cinematic offal I had ever seen. I assumed that it was just typical amateurish gorenography/fetish porn trash made by vomit fetishists without any element of abuse involved. I didn't know the truth about it until just recently.

Even if you are, like me, someone who obsessively watches every single "sickest movie ever made" and "most disturbing movie ever made", I highly discourage you from watching any of Valentine's films - and, if you absolutely must watch them, then it is imperative that you only do so through piracy so as not to support/fund him in any way. Valentine's films are nowhere near "the sickest movies ever made" (A Serbian Film and August Underground's Mordum - both of which were, at the very least, made as ethically as possible - are still the undisputed reigning champions of on-screen depravity), and Valentine's films, as previously stated, possess absolutely zero redeeming value of any sort. The only thing that's actually disturbing about them is the fact that they are genuine sexual abuse videos. Do not even bring them up in discussions of extreme horror cinema. Quite frankly, the only time that Valentine should even be discussed is when discussing what a sick and evil sexual predator he is, like I'm doing right now.
