One of the best movies I’ve ever seen!
It’s a compelling story about female strength and the suffering that comes from unrestrained male jealousy. A theme that I found to be bittersweet was the idea that female stories are often forgotten, but that they are very important to our history nonetheless.
Gaia Wise’s performance as Hera was excellent, and this was absolutely a female character done right.
After this movie I actually felt a bit down, because of the oppression that so many women face worldwide and how most never get to know their own strength as Hera did. But I think there’s a strong message of hope to draw on to, and that one day all women can live free and unrestrained.
Wow! I didn't know about this. Thanks!
LOTR is my favorite book(s) ever. Like, I've read my all-three-volumes copy to literal taped-together pieces. And somehow - SOMEHOW - I didn't know this was a thing.
About halfway through that trailer, I made a squeaky little noise like eeeeerp. And now I have plans for the weekend. ⚔️🐎📯🤘
