So I went on a movie binge over the holidays.
My brief reviews -
The Lost King. The true story of how an amateur historian called Phillipa Langley single-handedly tracked down the long-lost bones of the last Plantagenet king of England, Richard III. Very funny and inspiring true story.
Did you know Richard III introduced the legal principle that someone accused of a crime is innocent until proven guilty?
Wonder Women 1984. Big budget, effects-laden superheroine sequel. I enjoyed the ride.
The Girl in the Spiders' Web. Big budget, James-Bond-ified sequel featuring Claire Foy as the hacker who once again tangles with a pack of complete and total scumbags. You'd despair of humanity, really. Good thriller, not as cerebral as the earlier movies, more action-oriented.
