RageThe Case of Dana Rivers, a YouTube Video
Posted October 15, 2022 by Califasauros in NameTheProblem

Many members of Ovarit are, probably, aware of the brutal murders of Oakland, CA-based lesbian couple, Charlotte Reed+Patricia Wright and their son, Benny Diambu, AND the fact that it took almost 6 BLOODY YEARS for the trial of the alleged murderer, prominent trans activist / "trans woman" (aka female-identifying male), Dana Rivers, to begin.

The trial actually started this past Monday. FINALLY.

In any case, the ONLY mainstream legacy media outlet that covered the start of trial was People Magazine, a celebrity gossip publication, for Christ's sake. But, gotta give the reporters/ editors for doing so. And, meanwhile, ALL other national, Californian, and even Bay Area media outlets have been silent so far šŸ˜”. Oakland Tribune, SF Chronicle? Sacramento Bee, L.A. Times, Washington Post, New York Times, NPR...where are you?

Even the more popular conservative outlets, Daily Wire, Matt Walsh, Breitbart, National Review, Wall Street Journal, have yet to touch this story.

I think I understand why the mainstream liberal press isn't touching this (the story of a "trans woman" (sic) charged with the murder of a mixed race lesbian couple and their son adopted from Africa doesn't fit the "LGBTQ+ movement is intersectional, kind, and inclusive" narrative?).

But, why is the conservative press also not reporting on it...yet? Because, again, this story disrupts the narrative that the "L" and the "G" and the "B" are all happily working together with the "Q" and the "T"? And, it disrupts the conservative drive to paint homosexuality again as bad, and completely aligned with the ever more disturbing gender identity movement?

In any case, I digress. Back to the main point: almost all mainstream media in America...on the left and the right...is WILLFULLY ignoring this story of horrific male-on-female violence and male-on-child violence (Benny Diambu was under 18 at the time he was murdered, I believe), BUT there ARE two good sources of information about the current state of the case and background information on possible motivations for the brutal killings.

Kara Dansky: https://www.karadansky.com/state-v-dana-rivers-updates

And, the youtube video by journalist , Clive Owens, "The Case of Dana Rivers": Youtu.be/jbS3V81lEjo

An addendum: I chose the flair, "rage" for this post because WHOEVER brutally murdered Charlotte Reed, Patricia Wright, and Benny Diambu was, obviously, enraged. And, that, in this case, it's possible that it could have been the particular rage of a female-identifying male dissatisfied with the level of gender identity validation he received from these 2 women, as well as their adopted son.

ONLY IF THE PLANE WAS ON FIRE AND GOING DOWN.

Even then I would have my hesitations.

This and this!

I was genuinely seeking this option in the choices as well.

ProginoskaNovember 25, 2024

I mistakenly got on the plane with snakes in.

Other: I thought it would be really really fun. It was!

Published BMJ study showing NO difference in deaths / injuries when jumping from airplane with vs without parachute

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30545967/

Keep in mind when reading TRAs studies

None of these. I'm happy down on earth!

HoneycreeperBird LesbianNovember 26, 2024

Same. Wouldnā€™t ever sky dive or deep diving either. I like my feet on earth thanks!

Omg, sad story of my life. I am short and was always thin. I wanted to give myself a present of a parachute jumping for my 18th birthday. Asked my friends to give me money for that. Turned out my weight was not sufficient - you need to be 50 kg at least (in my country), I was around 45. My weight didn't change until I started doing sport and now with gained muscles I have 51-52 kg. But guess what? By now I have heard too many stories of people breaking legs while jumping with a parachute and now I just don't want to. I have always liked being scared in a safe way (horror movies, rollercoaster), but seems that parachute jumping is not that safe.

I've done it! Tandem, obviously. Brilliant fun. Unless you take it up as a hobby, it's a pretty safe experience. Statistically you're more likely to die driving a car.

I'm really just an unusually tall hobbit, and would prefer to keep my toes on the earth where they belong.

faerieberryNovember 25, 2024

Honestlyā€¦.. none of these? Personally Iā€™m terrified of heights, donā€™t think anything could ever convince me to go skydiving LOL

Maybe a billion dollars, but thatā€™s about it šŸ˜‚

Iā€™d love to go hang gliding and Iā€™m intrigued by bungee jumping, but Iā€™m not interested in totally untethered freefall.

Bailey's Irish Cream, probably.

velvetpawsBig timeNovember 25, 2024

I think thatā€™s probably closest to answer #1?

Vote entered, because you're probably right.

Jumping out of a plane (tandem skydive) had fascinated me since lying on the trampoline when my kids were little and watching paras jump out of small planes above us. I was 35ish. Always talked about it. Knew I'd do it...one day. My daughter presented me with the jump for my 50th birthday. No qualms, no "uh...oh...um", not even any nerves. Rolled out of the plane at 8 thousand feet over the Sunshine Coast in Australia.

Tick!

Edit....I got to know a guy who sky-dived (dove? lol) many times. His girlfriend had died jumping. And even that didn't put me off :)

Nothing short of an absolute emergency.

broccolipathsofgloryNovember 26, 2024

Other: it's something I've always wanted to do and I'd love to try it.

PiquedInterestNovember 25, 2024

If I got to a point someday where I was no longer scared of heights, then I would consider skydiving to prove to myself that I really had overcame my fear. I'd be more likely to try to do the thing where you're on a kite being pulled by a boat, though. That looks like a better thrill/terror balance šŸ˜‚
