Still not quite sure what the bug situation is, but it looks like posts can still be flaired. I'm not sure if that's for mods only or if anyone who posts here can flair. Please try to flair your own posts, and if you're unable, reply here.
New flair available: I added a "Trafficking" flair because unfortunately there are enough trafficking stories out there that I think it warrants its own flair.
As a reminder:
Flair your post according to the type of violence it features. This is so that readers can avoid particular kinds of material.
In addition to flair, use the NSFW tag when posting about:
child sexual abuse
infanticide
graphic descriptions of violence
In 2019, Carroll accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in the 1990s, eventually filing a defamation lawsuit that November after the former president said he did not know her and she wasn’t his “type.” She filed a second defamation lawsuit in November 2022, alleging defamation and sexual assault. A jury found Trump guilty of defamation and sexual abuse last May, ordering him to pay Carroll $5 million in damages, though it rejected the claim of rape. The first defamation lawsuit went to trial in January, and Trump was ordered to pay Carroll another $83.3 million in damages. In late April, Kaplan upheld the verdict and rejected Trump’s bid for a new trial in Carroll’s case.
Let's try to keep the conversation about SA and how abusers continue to disrupt the lives of women they've abused, rather than politics and policies. As always, thank you for remaining civil.
Following Carroll’s most recent trial, she and her attorney Roberta Kaplan have repeatedly indicated they would potentially sue Trump again if he continued defaming her.
Oh he ran his mouth again? He doesn't seem to get it. He was ordered not to continue to defame her and yet there he is, defaming her. I am so glad she took him to court over it.
