Absolutely horrendous, I can't even begin to imagine. The absolutely disgusting attitude of the soldiers too, that they can't even comprehend the problem.

It's astounding how men simply don't understand that women are people.
Back in the day I saw the way the "teach your sons not to rape" thing was framed and I thought it was mental. Why would someone need to be taught?
But. Turns out. They either don't know or this is yet again another weaponized incompetence kinda thing (idk if that's the right term exactly but something along those lines). I don't know which is the scarier option. If you don't spell out every single step of what they're not allowed to do, they will use it as an excuse to do it. Yet somehow they know not to do this stuff to other men automatically
They knew exactly what they did; if it wasnt so bad they wouldn't have used it as a weapon of war.
Soldier rape shows up the lie of rapists being a rare species of men. When it comes to military invasion, all kinds of men from all backgrounds have no problem raping terrified women.
It goes to show you that most men have no problem violating women and girls sexually, especially if an authority figure gives them permission.
Brings to mind:
Large groups of men with guns never ends well for women and children.
They have no problems violating other men either. I just did some pretty disturbing reading on it.
Younger/smaller men are often the victims of soldiers if no women are to be found.
