A court has overturned Bill Cosby's sex assault conviction after finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.

The 83-year-old former stand-up comedian and actor has already served more than two years of a three-to-10-year prison sentence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Cosby, who was once beloved as "America's Dad," was charged in 2015 when a prosecutor armed with new evidence arrested him days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired.

We're going to see all the same talking heads/news outlets up in arms over this shit show while defending penis in girls' faces in spas.

Yes. They are going to say, "This is rape culture!" And if anyone points out, "isn't indecent exposure rape culture?"... "No, that's...a human rights issue!" OMG. sigh.

He has long said he would resist the treatment programs and refuse to acknowledge wrongdoing even if it means serving the full 10-year sentence.

This is fucking despicable yet unsurprising. Money and power always quashes “justice” in this country. This unrepentant abuser and rapist of women gets out of jail after only serving an appallingly brief sentence because of a technicality? If the prosecutor had an agreement that prevented him from being charged, then how did they go forward with the charges in the first place? Why not stop it then? Why give us this hollow victory and then snatch it away? Maybe someone more fluent in law can explain it to me.

So, he can't be charged because they previously covered it up?

I'd love to know what back-door deals were done to make this happen. Is there evidence that he and the previous prosecutor had an agreement not to prosecute? This sounds like some bullshit excuse made up to cover whatever the real reason is for his release.

Everything about this article convinces me more than ever that he did everything he's accused AND CONVICTED of doing and deserved the prison time.

I'm curious if Hannibal Buress will have anything to say about this.
