I can't wrap my head around this level of evil, I get upset if I hurt critters in video games - every single person involved in this needs to be locked away forever because nothing will convince me that someone capable of such things wouldn't move on to humans (if they haven't already)

I remember seeing some videos years ago of baby monkeys on Youtube with some really weird and violent comments. I was baffled. I guess now I understand what that was about.
I wouldn’t be against throwing everyone involved in this BS into a rocket and firing it into the sun.
I've been following this on kiwifarms. Ive seen some of the worst the internet has to offer, but this takes the cake. Watching men and women abuse the monkeys really just makes me speechless. And the comments on the videos on yt is just as bad.

I read this article last night before you posted this. Actually I only read half the article because it was too much. People who are into torturing animals and killing animals are absolutely fine with torturing and killing humans too. Who could look at this and get some thrill out of it? And the comments. These people walk among us.
I am so tired of the internet being a vehicle for despicable people being able to gather together and act out their nefarious deeds.

Two out of three ringleaders in the article were named as men, one as a woman. And from other sources, both the torturers who were arrested are described as male so I thought it belonged here.

As far as we know, but now I am highly suspicious of anyone doing such things who is called 'she'. Half the time I check it ends up being a TIM. Women of course can be evil like this too, but it's a rarity.
It isn’t at all unusual for women to take part in the videos of this kind of thing.
Not too long ago some women were arrested for “crush” videos involving cats.
Many of them are probably just there because they’re being paid, but IMO they’re just as culpable,

Exactly!
Men are far more often abusers because of sexism, aggression, and a physical advantage, but women can be just as vile and evil. It’s not feminist to claim women can do no wrong.

We all know it’s men to the largest degree, but make no mistake. Women are often involved in animal abuse/snuff films.
I’ve heard some horrific stuff being described from these videos and there are plenty of women.

Unfortunately in cases like animal abuse and child abuse, women can be just as cruel and abusive as men.
Abuse is a power dynamic, and women are stronger and more powerful than small animals and young children.
However, this isn’t to say that the vast majority of abusers of all kinds aren’t male — male pattern violence is undeniable.

If it gives you any peace, another BBC article I read said the monkey named Mini ended up recovering, and she will soon be released to an island that humans aren’t allowed to go to for conservation reasons.
It doesn’t excuse the number of monkeys that died at the hands of these sadists, but I was glad to know the most “famous” one will live out the rest of her days without abuse.

Babies no less. This seriously made me cry. I'm holding my baby boy right now and the thought of anyone torturing such an innocent being fills me with indescribable anger and sadness. They need to be locked up forever.
I'm crying too. It's just overwhelming to think about. Evil.
