I'm sure there are some in the police force for the right reasons, but for so many inadequate men, it's a macho power fantasy where they get to behave like Billy Big Bollocks, or worse. It's awful to know this is who vulnerable women are meant to trust.

There was that story recently about GMP arresting a rape victim and strip-searching her. Her "crime" was complaining about their failures in investigating her rape and recording one of the police admitting to these failures on her phone. She then complained about them arresting and strip searching her, and the police investigation into it just accepted the officers' story that she was just changing into the outfit they provided for her. She then demanded the cell camera footage to prove her story. They claimed it had been corrupted/lost. Fucking disgusting.

Even if you're a raging asshole, take some pride and dignity in your work. Being a police officer means showing empathy and grace to everyone who you are in service to (i.e. the people of your community). Have some fucking respect and be a professional. Don't degrade the women you're meant to safeguard. Fucking disgusting.

Faisal should not have been let go (can he sue? is it even worth suing?). What an absolute joke.

Horrible. You put trust in them and they further victimize a victim

In terms of the trainees, they seem to vet out the good ones early on - if you object to sexism and abuse, they get rid of you ensuring that only the disgusting pigs remain. Good job.
