She is as ideologicslly captured by the TCult as all the other self-righteous lefties (who may be on target about other social/political issues).
For the kids getting "transed" - girls and young women fleeing from the horrors of womanhood; and gnc kids who, if left alone, would grow up to be lesbians and gay men - the only compassionate thing to do is to prevent them from any access to the drugs, surgeries, and grooming that destroys their bodies and minds.
The autogynephilic men (which now also includes boys who "trans" when AGP has its onset at puberty) are infilltrated in every social and political organization that creates policy, including the policies that make a sacrifice of "trans kids" to normalize the AGP male sex cult that is "trans". They are the T in that stupid acronym that shoves TQ+wtf on the end of LGB, where it doesn't belong. Those men do not deserve compassion and only use whatever compassion they can manipulate from hapless people, like the Bishop, to continue their violation of women's rights for their sexual gratification. These men need to be forever kept out of womens spaces, with consequences for violating them - consequences as severe as it takes.
It is very irresponsible to lump the T in with lesbians and gay men, and with all the other groups the Bishop mentioned who the President really should consider in making compassionate policy.
Elizabelch — and I say this as a fellow left winger who is ostensibly a member of the LGBT set — where is the compassion, mercy, empathy and kindness from this bishop towards the sterilisation and mutilations of LGB children, the raped women who cannot access male-free shelters or be safe from rapists in women’s prisons, the women who do not want themselves or their girl children exposed to voyeuristic fetishists in bathrooms and locker rooms, the girls (and adult women) being cheated in sports and professions?
She may mean well, but she is tacitly homophobic and misogynist.
This right here. Before she parades along the moral high ground she needs to get her facts straight. Perhaps she could spend some time listening to the women, gay people and detransitioners harmed by this movement instead of virtue signalling on TV chat shows?
I don't agree with some of her takes, but the melodrama and virtue signaling on the right is disproportionate to what she's said. Disliking what she said doesn't change the fact that she is being dragged mercilessly, mostly by men.
Does she deserve to be called heretical, satanic, bull-dyke, demon-possessed? Does she deserve misogynistic hate and burn-the-witch mentality? Does she deserve to be smeared and bullied by men and a select few of their handmaidens for not toeing some Old Testament line that none of the bullies actually believe in anyway?
I didn't make the OP expecting it to be popular. But what I would like is for people to simply read what is being said about Bishop Budde, and ask themselves if it is at all appropriate or sensible or befitting of people who run a country and control its media. Ask yourselves if it's hysterical or if it's in line with what the bishop actually preached. Ask yourselves if it's any different from the level of insanity we get from ranting TIMs when J. K. Rowling makes an unpopular statement.
Misogynistic bullying is misogynistic bullying. I don't have to agree with the bishop to know what I'm seeing.
You’re strawwomanning this. Nowhere did I say that she deserved misogynistic attacks. I am pointing out however that she is pushing a homophobic and misogynist narrative herself.
