Been taking my online privacy a bit more seriously, and I've been using UBlock Origin to reveal cross-site trackers and unnecessary scripts.
Most websites are awful!
For example, after opening a Youtube window while not logged in, from behind a VPN and without pre-existing cookies, UBlock is showing 844 scripts that were blocked from executing!
Meanwhile on Ovarit, there's only one analytics tool showing up: usefathom.
It's like night and day. I know Ovarit is more barebones and grassroots, but a benefit of that is that it's not some data vacuum tracking us all.
Kinda random but I just wanted to say I appreciate it!
