It may make Ovarit more sustainable in the future if some type of paid subscription feature were added, maybe for $5 a month.
I think some useful benefits that could be added could be the ability to have an image avatar, as well as maybe having the ability to use badges in profiles or posts.
A feature that Reddit made is good is the awards feature where people can pay to give Silver or Gold to a post. Something similar may also work well for Ovarit as it would let people do something more significant than upvoting while also benefitting the site.
