I've seen this cartoon a few times now and I'll be honest, I'm really not sure what it means.

Does it mean that you should just be yourself (i.e. a TIP) because people will accept you? Then why the choice of a wolf in sheep's clothing? Is it a purposeful poke at TIPs, or is the artist genuinely this dense?

I seem to recall that it was created by a TIF on Tumblr and that she was shocked by the backlash from TIMs for portraying them as wolves in sheeps clothing. I could be wrong about the details, but I do know it was supposed to be a pro-trans comic.

I remember I saw this somewhere and someone made a very good observation that a cat is a predator, too. So for a cat it's nothing to say to the wolf that oh yeah, you're sheep, I'll validate you. This wouldn't work with mice.

Moral of the story is that cats are stupid. :v

Are we sure this isn't satire?

Lol the choice to literally draw a wolf in sheep's clothing and expect that to be perceived as a positive thing is peak self-aware wolves.😆
