Why do TIMs love the name Riley so much?

I wish I knew! Riley is traditionally a boys name and still very uncommon with girls. If you meet a girl named Riley, she's probably under 10 years old, a teen at most, which makes it even more gross 🤮 why can't all TIMs just look at the common baby girl names from the year they were born? Instead of picking out popular baby names in the year they transition?🤔

I looked into it and it's apparently even more popular than I thought it was! #33 on the girls name list for 2020. it was #826 in 1990, the year I was born.

I'm in my 30s and I went to school with multiple female Rileys. I would say it was about an even split.

I think a lot of ROGD TiFs don't really want to be men, their motivation is escaping womanhood. So a nice soft androgynous name like Alex or Grey is ideal for them.
AGPs seem to like stereotypically feminine names though. TiMs call themselves like "Jessica Bubblebutt" and the like but TiFs never go for "Brad Musclecock". I was thinking about this the other day actually, those "finding my name" questions on trans reddits is a good clue that the poster isn't AGP because AGPs have a whole hidden cross-dresser alter ego ready to go when they come out.
