I've interacted with some wonderful, thoughtful, deeply articulate and nuanced thinkers online - until the trans thing came up, then suddenly they're bleating "TWAW" and "terfs don't interact". When pointing out the inconsistencies in some of their statements, you just get told to go away (in less polite terms ha). I'm honestly starting to see people who support this craziness as cultists, brainwashed into idiocy.
Everyday more of us peak!
I miss Tumblr, I had to stop using it bc of the rampant anti semitism
Of course, Tumblr was the birthplace of a lot of gender woo, as others here have discussed on some different posts. I think it was the first target for Pritzker's Santa Barbara gender think tank. I believe someone discovered there were gender woo bots targeting Tumblr.
Me too. I had to stop using it because of the vicious misogyny and homophobia from "trans" people and their allies. It took a huge toll on my mental health, but I sure do miss the ladies (and some dudes) of Radblr.
It always annoyed me when I find somewhat similar minded women have blocked me. Punny Penny (Lenniesaurus on Twitter) is one and I’d have loved to follow her she had seemed interesting until she says she preemptively blocks TERFs and I found out I was blocked by her before I’d even heard of her. She claims she doesn’t use a TERF blocker but the amount of women who’ve said they’re blocked by her makes me believe she does use one.
There are a few others as well. I think they’ve been told not to read or listen to women which I find devastating.
That really sucks, especially considering she herself apparently had to take a break from Twitter due to misogyny.
She got a lot of criticism for blocking women after Nigella Lawson wondered why she got so much backlash. Woman after woman responded to Nigella, saying they’d love to look at Lenniesaurus’ content but unfortunately she blocked them.
She’s very interesting and is passionate about the Scots language (especially on TikTok) but this blocking has soured me on her.
I’m not too certain on the misogyny but she really did try explaining, albeit rather poorly, why she blocks women en masse. It was something like, “I didn’t want to risk homophobia, misogyny and transphobia on my feed so I just block.”
“I didn’t want to risk homophobia, misogyny and transphobia on my feed so I just block.”
Lol the irony is real, bc I follow basically all TERFs and rarely see any of those things.

Funny how blocking all TERFs somehow didn't manage to protect her from Twitter's rampant misogyny. Transgenderism is misogyny and homophobia.
I love the idea that we must keep asking questions. It will spur on the discourse of all those that are afraid to speak at all. A simple question has a tremendous amount of power.
