Dogs aren't man's best friend - they're woman's best friend.

Yes they are.

I'm surprised it was a greyhound lol. You just know the man REALLY crossed the line when a timid dog breed snapped.

I've seen my unfair share of flashers. All of them were middle aged and fat, creeping in old buildings and bushes close to relatively busy roads. I'll always associate those specific locations with them and feel uncomfortable walking by. I regret not calling the police or doing something to stop them, but I'm terrified of possible violent reactions. You never know.

Would the police tell them who reported their antics?

HeadacheDecember 7, 2024

No, the calls are anonymous. I wasn't really thinking about that at the time because I was overwhelmed and thought the men would see me dialling on my mobile, but I'll call next time it happens (I just know it will eventually ...).

LillithDecember 7, 2024

That's understandable.

Fortunately, I haven't encountered many flashers... Perhaps only one in 70 some years.

BUT I think carrying a slingshot would be a great idea! I have carried one (with a few marbles as bullets) for problem dogs (I do love dogs and carry biscuits and make friends with 90%, but there are some that are poorly behaved). But with a flasher, when he whips it out, you take out your slingshot and give him some attention!

I am literally putting a slingshot on my Christmas wishlist now because of this

I'm lighting a beeswax candle and offering my St. Francis statue a milkbone.

Yesss rest in peace sweet doggo. May you spend the afterlife chewing on rawhide, chasing and playing with other good doggos, and getting all the belly rubs and back scratches for all eternity.

They definitely "just want to pee," it has nothing to do with comorbid fetishes and subjecting women to seeing male genitals /s

Also, I have NEVER understood how flashing comes to be. How in the world is that arousing? What is the anticipated or intended outcome?? I'm guessing it's fear and discomfort but still.

It’s all about making women fearful and uncomfortable. These predators want us afraid.

TheChaliceIsMightierJK 4evaDecember 6, 2024

Sexual terrorism

Metal_detector [OP]December 5, 2024

I assume it’s the thrill of brandishing their weapon of choice. Their penis. And the fear and anxiety of reminding some unsuspecting woman that he is indeed a threat and he is dangerous to women.

LillithDecember 5, 2024

Yes I think thrill of the illicit, crossing boundaries, and the strange sense of pride that men have towards their plumbing.

I don't get the penile pride either... Like I'm attracted to men and still think dicks are funny looking. I'd be embarrassed.

LillithDecember 6, 2024

Lol. If a man flashes me Im going to ask why it's so small.

Metal_detector [OP]December 7, 2024(Edited December 7, 2024)

My great grandma was flashed when she was 18. That witty woman looks down and looked up at him and did this 👌🏻 with her fingers. This man got embarrassed and ran off.

This was a devout life long Baptist. Never swore. Rarely smoked. Read her Bible. And had some of the quickest thinking I’ve ever seen. Miss her so much.

TheChaliceIsMightierJK 4evaDecember 6, 2024

Just start laughing lol that would be excellent

LillithDecember 6, 2024

Even better!

I actually laughed at a man who was harrassing me about something else. He was so mad and I was just cackling like a witch all the way down the block.

Anaktorias_SecretDecember 6, 2024

I think good men are embarrassed and honest about their feelings that the thing just isn't pretty.
