Plenty of horses fly if you count birds as horses

Lipsy•_____•January 14, 2024(Edited January 14, 2024)

Even more if you're reading a paragraph taken from FlyingHorseHub.org.au...

notsofreshfeelingJanuary 13, 2024

What's the word for the people who menstruate though? Do they share a word? Why don't they have a word yet, after thousands of years and the development of human language? Calling these people "menstruators" seems so clumsy and clinical, maybe even dehumanizing; other mammals could be called "menstruators," so how do we distinguish these folks with a word that humanizes them? Gee, it's just so weird they don't have a word.

cranberrysaladJanuary 13, 2024

“Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?”

—great quotes from The Peakening

wildclovrJanuary 13, 2024

Also, I wanna know if "menstruators" are always menstruators, or just when they are menstruating.

CarthimundiaJanuary 13, 2024

One of the big fallacies these people keep commiting is they seem to think that anything linked to women is inherently 'feminine'. No, menstruation is not feminine. It is, however, something that only FEMALE bodies do. it is correct that gender has fuck all to do with menstruation...you could have any number of sparkly gender identities and still menstruate. But only female bodies are capable of mensturation. The 'men' who mensturate are female.

FloraFairJanuary 14, 2024

I was thinking the same thing. Menstruation isn't feminine in a sense that it's girly.

That's like claiming ovarian cancer is feminine & TIMs shouldn't feel bad because they can't get it.

TRAs are constantly trying to diminish the importance of sex in favor of gender. Notice the tidbit of men menstruate too! Yes the female men menstruate.

This is an article written so TIMs don't feel bad about being males. The excerpt is not even for TIFs ,the men, who might feel weird about menstruation. Even though a fully transitioned TIF wouldn't menstruate either.

I wonder what the article for ejaculation looks like?

"Don't worry TIFs all bodies ejaculate even some women! 🙂 Ejaculation isn't inherently masculine so don't feel bad you can't do it."

HarpySmeagolJanuary 13, 2024

I just imagine being a confused kid - girl or boy - wondering what's going to happen or already happening to my body, being too embarrassed to ask parents, getting unclear information at school, and googling for answers only to find this rotting garbage dump of lies.

PracticalMagicJanuary 13, 2024

Boys thinking they might get a period. Girls not knowing what a period actually is.

worried19January 14, 2024

Even worse is that all the puberty education books now are full of this bullshit. Kids can't even go to the library for a straight answer.

TheWombstressJanuary 14, 2024

Omg yes, it’s full of gender woo. I remember I read a book back in 2014 back when I got my first period called: ‘What’s Happening To me?’ Theres a female version and a male version. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Whats-Happening-Girls-Facts-Life/dp/0746069952

This will probably classed as tRansPhoBic now idk.

But if you read the reviews, parents are buying this book to educate their terrified daughters on their changing bodies, not telling them it’s the “wrong puberty” because she’s uncomfortable with a natural process.

[Deleted]January 13, 2024

Interesting. When I google in German "who gets their period" it answers "girls get their period usually between 11 and 14" but my English friend googled the same and gets the trans cult answer that names agender, neutrois and man before even mentioning women.

Haworthia_LadyJanuary 13, 2024

That is interesting, when I google from Australia all the local and UK based hits say women or girls, it’s only half way down the page where the US pages start that women get cancelled.

Let’s face it, if men menstruated every workplace would have period leave and there would be tampon and pad dispensers on every street corner.

JehaneJanuary 13, 2024

Plus free painkillers, and there would not only be extensive research on endometriosis or PCOS, no, scientists and medics would have figured out the causes for either and treatment as well. Also, hormonal contraceptives such as the pill would be completely free of any annoying side effects, and post-menopausal men wouldn't become invisible to society due to their age.

FemmeEtalJanuary 14, 2024

I forget who said it but I recall a quote that was something like “If men could get pregnant, abortions centers would be more common than Starbucks and birth control would come in cool ranch flavor”.

JehaneJanuary 14, 2024

That is very accurate 😁

PhryneJanuary 14, 2024

Or "If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament."

TheWombstressJanuary 14, 2024

Canada, UK, New Zealand, USA and Australia are the most corrupt with this gender woo, let’s be real.

pumpkinspicelesbianJanuary 14, 2024

I hate the childish ways that bodies and health are talked about within the trans community. "Some bodies" is such a ridiculous way to talk about this, as if it's some great mystery as to who does it.

FemmeEtalJanuary 14, 2024

Plus the childish language is extra confusing for actual children who are hearing these things for the first time and blindly accepting it as truth. I weep for the children who truly do not understand their sex.

pumpkinspicelesbianJanuary 14, 2024(Edited January 14, 2024)

If your reader base isn't mature enough to know about their body, then they aren't mature enough to be making changes to their body and shouldn't be on a site for transitioning.

Researcher1536January 13, 2024

Just tell those women and girls shoved into period huts to just find their true gender soul and they can come inside the house, duhhhh!!!!!!!!

DurableBookJanuary 13, 2024

I think it is telling that they can't simply say "Female people menstruate, regardless of gender identity."

Like, okay we can't have the word 'woman' any more, but what's wrong with specifying female persons? After all, gender and sex are not the same, right? And we're totally not claiming that people change sex, right? So there's definitely nothing wrong with observing that it is persons of the female sex who menstruate, and that gender identity has no impact on that fact, right?

asmahanJanuary 13, 2024

I mean, it made news a bit a couple years ago when they called Dick Levine the first female whatever-he-was, and then everyone just rolled over and started using "female" to refer to TIMs in sports etc. as if we'd always used "female" as a flexible gender descriptor.

So you can't say "female people [even though there exists a word for that] menstruate" when they include TIMs in female people.

TheWombstressJanuary 13, 2024(Edited January 13, 2024)

They are offended by the word 'woman' at this point. I don't see the same energy for TIFs colonising manhood tho. I wOndEr wHy insert obvious reason****

FemmeEtalJanuary 13, 2024(Edited January 13, 2024)

Meanwhile real women around the globe are dealing with a myriad of reproductive health issues, conditions and life threatening diseases and disorders that will never adequately be researched and treated. This shit is evil.

Spencer_ShayyJanuary 13, 2024

It really is. This perpetuates the ignorance (and therefore, the stigma) around menstruation.

IrishTheFrenchiesay_wut?January 13, 2024

Women with imaginary beliefs also have female anatomy! Shocking!

SonnetJanuary 13, 2024(Edited January 13, 2024)

Menstruation doesn’t change anything about your gender.

Which is why no one claims that menstruation, which is a product of female sex, has anything to do with gender…except people who desperately wish that it did.

legopantsJanuary 13, 2024

Transgender men and genderqueer people who have uteruses, vaginas, fallopian tubes, and ovaries also get their periods.

Is what mine said, so at least it specifies female biology

LOriginedumondeJanuary 13, 2024

My top result said

A common term used in academia to account for adolescent girls, women, transgender men, non-binary and agender people, and other gender minorities who menstruate is 'menstruators. ' Therefore, we suggest using the term women, adolescent girls and people who menstruate.

JehaneJanuary 13, 2024

"Gender minorities" is a term that I'd apply liberally to all of them - TIMs, TIFs, non-binary and agender people and whatnot, simply because that's what they are. They are a tiny minority, statistically completely insignificant, yet large parts of Western society bow and pander to them, simply because they are constantly whining and ranting and gaslighting people.

TheWombstressJanuary 14, 2024(Edited January 14, 2024)

Are you in any of these countries?

🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇦🇺 🇨🇦 If so, we all know why that was the top result💀

LadyLabrysJanuary 13, 2024

I saw the same top result, from Planned Parenthood.

[Deleted]January 13, 2024
JehaneJanuary 13, 2024

Menstruating non-binary gender specials are women. So are men, if by that you mean women pretending to be men. Same goes for agender people. In short, people who menstruate are women. Period.

TheDirtyYumejoJanuary 13, 2024(Edited January 13, 2024)

All the big tech companies are completely possessed by the trans bullshit, so I'm not surprised Also the website checks out

TheWombstressJanuary 13, 2024(Edited January 13, 2024)

I wonder why tho, it's not helping society whatsoever so what do they gain from feeding into delusions and being anti-human thinking people can change sex? All this gender woo is just confusing and all of the above and I just KNOW non-western countries are laughing at us...

NastasyaFillipovnaJanuary 13, 2024

Big tech relies on advertisement, and adverts rely on clicks and pageviews/impressions. And Ragebaits are the biggest drivers for both of those things. That's why you see incredibly stupid "takes/reactions" on youtube/twitter. They are profiteering based on your engagement with such content.

[Deleted]January 14, 2024

Yes! thank you for such an informed response. If we remember this maybe we can plot a mass exodus from these places that profit off of misogyny. They literally make money for the more misogyny they deseminate (and yes, semen is the root word here). Please, please leave these misogyny spaces and stay on the Amazonian island of ovarit, where women are nurtured and reason can still thrive.

Spencer_ShayyJanuary 13, 2024

People don't embrace trans ideology to help society lmao

TheWombstressJanuary 13, 2024(Edited January 13, 2024)

My gender-woo friend believes she's helping society (she literally went to a pro-trans protest). Some Young people who believe in gender identity think they are heroes making society more "progressive" They generally believe they are doing good by supporting the biggest medical scandal in modern history.

EdelgardJanuary 13, 2024

It's just a thing that some bodies do.

And these are the guys who pride themselves on knowing far more about biology than everyone else.

LadyLabrysJanuary 13, 2024

"Just a thing" that "some bodies" have been historically forced into danger and seclusion for. But which bodies are those? Only female ones.

Also, we are not separate from our bodies. I hate this dehumanizing language that talks about bodies as if they are just meatsuits entirely detached from our selves. We ARE our bodies. And it's time we embraced that.

[Deleted]January 13, 2024

Having a period is a female thing. Only females menstruate. All healthy females of sexually fertile age menstruate. Menstruation is a function of the female reproductive system that facilitates the female role in reproduction.

It's just a thing that some bodies do

It's a thing that some female bodies do. No male bodies do it.

PracticalMagicJanuary 13, 2024

"It's just a thing that some bodies do" minimizes the effect of it on many of those bodies. Even easy periods take management. As females we DO need to arrange our lives around it one way or another. Even in these days of absorbent panties and menstrual cups and half decent pain killers, we still need to be prepared. Unless we're suppressing menstruation - which we can't do merely by thinking about it, we need medications, and means to get them - or pregnant - a whole new set of things to think about - our menstrual cycle is a core element of our lives for a large part of it.

[Deleted]January 13, 2024

And minimizes it's importance. If "some bodies" didn't "just do" this "thing" the human race would be extinct

TheWombstressJanuary 14, 2024

They talk about like it’s being born with an extra toe or something. Like it’s not a big deal.

Spencer_ShayyJanuary 13, 2024

This is the type of language you use if you don't want the populace to remain ignorant about menstruation. This is 1984-levels of Orwellian bullshit. "We don't know why this happens, just that it does, but it means nothing."

You will NEVER convince me that "transgender" is anything but conservative backlash against feminism, because there is NO difference between this and Florida banning talking about periods in school.

asmahanJanuary 13, 2024

Gotta hand it to those conservatives, they've really been playing the long game posing as generations of academics since the 60s to shape cultural discourse.

TheWombstressJanuary 13, 2024

Florida did WHAT

AmareldysJanuary 14, 2024

Yes, having a period is not dependent on your personality.

Unicornkindrad.orgJanuary 13, 2024
MardyMcMareJanuary 13, 2024

Heh, I love South Park. There’s a suitable clip for almost everything.

JehaneJanuary 13, 2024

Yes, and they don't shy away from any topic, it's brilliant.

MardyMcMareJanuary 13, 2024

My favourite one is where Cartman’s mum employs Cesar Milan (the Dog Whisperer) to tame her son.

JehaneJanuary 13, 2024

Can't remember if I've seen that one, I've lost track a bit. But it sounds hilarious 😁

GwenllianJanuary 13, 2024

It is. But you can never watch Supernanny in the same way again afterwards. 😆

TheWombstressJanuary 13, 2024

Also, does anyone have a screenshot of what Google’s answer for this question was a few years ago? (Probably not ☹️ )

PracticalMagicJanuary 13, 2024

The "plenty of" is such bullshit given TIPs are supposed to be vanishingly rare.

Oh and also because men do not menstruate.

PtarmagantJanuary 13, 2024

What a pants-pain! I just pulled the "menstruation" ball out of the bodily-function randomizer.

MaryDyerJanuary 13, 2024

What do they think “fem” means? Hmm…does it have anything to do with…female, by any chance?
