I've seen this brought up by a few people online, and I just do not know enough about the process of water clarification to understand if it's a real issue.

I've heard people say that the hormones from birth control, the compounds from all sorts of medications, etc remain in the water after it is treated.

Is this accurate in any meaningful way?
