This is HUGE. There was quite a controversy regarding credit for CRISPR with a male scientist holding the foundational patents.

This is the first time that a Nobel prize in science has been shared by two women. History in the making!

I had no idea CRISPR was developed by two women, so this was pretty awesome to hear about!
