In the video, Hamilton says that from what she knows, the majority of women on the world tour support her. In looking at the comments, I see several professional athletes commenting in support, including Carissa Moore (Hamilton's longtime friend/competitor and the current Olympic champion in surfing), Sage Erickson, Josh Kerr, Moana Wong, Julia Mancuso (skiing), and maybe more. On her first post the other day, I also noticed supportive comments from Shane Dorian and Anthony Walsh (don't know them at all but I believe they're on the men's tour). This could really be the start of something - Hamilton has over 2M followers on Instagram and a deep connection to that community.

Also, a follow-up comment from Hamilton in the comments: "Women had a long journey in surfing to get where we are and with the amount of evidence that transgender male bodied athletes scientifically have a very different structure and strength. I'm not about excluding anyone, but you have to draw the line somewhere and for me its here. Separate division is all I got at this point. And it may take time but we all waited for this time to shine too."

Considering that women only JUST (as in 2019) got equal pay for surfing and still don't have equal events, her point is well taken.
