Hi, everyone, amazingly the simple URL SheWon.org was available, so I snagged it. I can make a simple website that lists which women would have won what award if they had not been displaced by a man. But I am not a sports person. Is there anyone who could supply content?

I've stickied your post so that we can keep the website up to date, and put together a meaningful historical record. Thanks for making it!

I just want to thank you for what you're doing, as well as for coming up with such a good name ♥️

You can start on the Save Women's Sports website because they have a list of TIMs in women's sports. Then, you could look into what events they competed in and post about the runner ups.

A feedback form for people to send you new info could be useful but I heard TRAs send abusive messages through those.

I’m not a sports person either but here is a thread from a few days ago that documented unfair TIM winnings.

Edit: Theres also a man named Evelyn Williamson who goes by foxcroissants on Instagram who just won first place in a women’s cycling race in Folsom, California. He apparently sprayed beer on the heads of the women who came in 2nd and 3rd place.

anyone who lost to the cyclepath (veronica ivy/rachel mckinnon/rhys mckinnon/gross agp pseudo-intellectual abomination) no doubt counts.

Yep. I need the names of the women who would have won, and I need to title and date of the events.

Sarah Caravella-Fader, the favorite in one of these championships even withdrew in protest, so maybe you want to include women like her as well, maybe as honorable mention. https://www.velonews.com/news/commentary-the-complicated-case-of-transgender-cyclist-dr-rachel-mckinnon/ I won't be able to do it today, but I could help get the actual results of the races that McKinnon won.

The women who Gavin "Laurel" Hubbard cheated at the 2019 Pacific Games can be found here: http://www.oceaniaweightlifting.com/Portals/0/results/owf-results/2019PG.pdf?ver=2019-07-18-123626-010 (page 41)

Great; I have the Pacific Games up on the website now. Send me all the cycle races when you have them. Yes, I think we should put withdrawals, too--include that with the cycle races.

Maybe it could be a community effort, where anyone can submit content, and then all you need to do is moderate and fact check before approving posts, which you could get volunteers for it gets too much.

So.. a website where people can 'post' to.

I will see if I can make that happen without making the site vulnerable to attack . . .

This is such a great idea! It would be nice to be able to see it on a map, and also to see scholarships which should have rightfully been won by girls/women.

I think allowing moderated submissions would be a great idea, because I'm sure there has been plenty of this going on which doesn't get proper media coverage.

Would you be willing to help me out by extracting the info and giving it to me? (I have the Pacific Games, no need on that.) So year, event, name of athlete, representing state/country, what they would have won? The website is up now, just need to populate it! http://shewon.org
