Reem Alsalem is the same UN expert behind the rapport "prostitution and violence against girls ans women"

What a queen in a very hostile anti-women environment

People need to stop the pussyfooting language games. If you were “born male” then you are male. You will live and die as a male.

I think this just makes the meaning clearer. If you say males shouldn't participate in women's sports, TRAs will screech that TW are not male

To make it the most clear I would simply say, if you have a Y chromosome you can’t compete with women. Full stop. The Y chromosome has all the stuff on it that differentiates men from women biologically, including the increased testosterone, lung capacity, bone structure etc. Men with 2 Xs are still men, as long as they also have a Y (see:klinefelters). Women with and X and a half are still women (see: Turner syndrome)

I wish they hadn't used the pic of Khelif, since he was most likely "observed female" at birth.

Fluffy_genderOctober 3, 2024

He was still born male

StrawberryCoughOctober 4, 2024

That's not the point I'm making.

I agree it was a…ahem…balsy pick

And in truth, he was never’trans’, which is what the article addresses

Tldr, it adds to the confusion
