2024: The year violence against women became an Olympic sport.

I was well and truly peaked long prior to this year, but the unquestioning acceptance of the idiotic drivel that came out of IOC head Thomas Bach’s mouth made me burn white hot anew. A sampler:

"We have two boxers who are born as a woman, who have been raised as a woman, who have a passport as a woman and who have competed for many years as a woman. "This is the clear definition of a woman. There was never any doubt about them being a woman."

Oh, you mean other than the chromosome tests that show they are XY? You know, the ones that were provided to the IOC in 2023.

"What we see now is that some want to own the definition of who is a woman," added Bach. "There I can only invite them to come up with a scientific-based, new definition of who is a woman and how can somebody being born, raised, competed and having a passport as a woman cannot be considered a woman. "If they are coming up with something, we are ready to listen, we are ready to look into it, but we will not take part in a sometimes politically-motivated, cultural war.

Those pesky rights-hoarding dinosaurs want to “own” the definition of a woman, so annoying amirite? Good grief, how could anyone report Bach’s feigned helplessness without an ounce of incredulity. If only someone could come up with a scientific-based definition of woman. Maybe one day science will crack that nut.

"Allow me to say that what is going on in this context in social media with all this hate speech, with this aggression and abuse fuelled by this agenda is totally unacceptable."

Hate speech = saying the truth out loud. Oh, and don’t forget how the IOC made the woman punched in the face by Khelif apologize to him. It was an obscene spectacle. #neveragain
