I don't know if this has been discussed here before, but I just realized that people don't tend to talk about women coaches very often in women's sports discussions. I think women's knowledge in sports is just not treated equally as men's, even if these men never played the sports themselves. Many women are coached by male coaches, and we know that sexual assault by coaches is a problem. On the other hand, I never heard of any male athlete coached by a female (but I would be happy to hear any examples).
