Thomas declined to participate in the required press conference for winners of the meet. An NCAA spokesperson said that the situation would be reviewed after the championships.

🤔 "Required", you say.

oh silly you, you forgot that the rules don't apply to Lia - Lia does what Lia wants.

Transrights are the rights bestowed only on trans people; one of which is to to not be bound by rules which apply to "everyone". Since trans people are the most special of all humans ever birthed into this world, I can't really see what the problem is. Seems totally fair to me

Absolute coward. He knows what he’s done.

Tbh I think we should all send him thank you cards, he’s doing our work for us. I really, really feel for the women who have lost their opportunities but this is peaking so many people. We couldn’t have a more picture perfect representation of how wildly messed up this ideology is, and how it disadvantages women.

Thank you cheating Liar Will Thomas, you’re waking people up. 🥰

I'm sure it will be all "meh mental health" boo hoo, giggle. "I'm just like Naomi Osaka!"

Tell me again how all this SPECIAL attention is given to a single person and what relation it has to biological sex? I mean, it seems the only person who gets to cheat and gets out of required events is the man with a penis.

Congratulations to the REAL winners.

If I was cheating, I wouldn't go either. The NCAA need to review why a man is swimming with women and they're pretending like it's a completely unpredictable outcome.

Some chanting started during her post-race interview on the pool deck. Weyant received a thunderous cheer on the podium as runner-up, and again Thomas got a scattering of cheers.

When they announced Thomas before the race, the pool deck was again eerily quiet with a few cheers scattered around the natatorium.

Ha!

Good.

I want to point out that Brooke Forde was incredibly vocal in support of allowing Thomas to cheat. I think it's very ironic that she's now not even in the top three in the race, as far as the record goes.

Congratulations ladies! The world sees you, and we know you've been cheated. Take comfort in the fact Lia has made cowardice and cheating his legacy. I believe that one day you will be given back what's been stolen from you.

Erica and Emma both won silver medals at the Tokyo Olympics! Erica is also an out lesbian and seems pretty cool.

I'm so glad you listed the third place winner - that's what's so insidious about men in women's sports - there's always a woman further down the line who gets bumped from her rightful place in the rankings.

Yes, but she was vocally supporting him and saying it would be and ‘honor and privilege’ or some shite

Glad it was her

Took a big ol bite of that shit sandwich with a grin on her face...I do feel bad for her but maybe this will be her wake up call.

She said it before she found out that men don’t stop having a sports advantage over women even if they say they are women too

Id love to do the follow up interview

Wow. You could have been in third place after two olympians. That would have given you bragging rights

Did Leah thank you for your support?
