This man has been getting his rocks off by flashing his penis in a women's changing room, by being the lone male in an enclosed space full of vulnerable, disrobing women who have been gaslit into silence. For months.

Flashing is not trivial. It is a threat. Wayne Couzens was flashing women a mere three weeks before his kidnap, rape and murder of Sarah Everard.

Why is this not bringing ten times more attention and vitriol down upon this creep's head than his cheating?

Is it because society (read: men) cares about sport, but not about sexual violence?

Think it's also because flashing tends to get treated like a joke, and not like the serious portent of more disturbing sexual transgressions that it is.

One of the reasons for my hard line against permitting TIMs in ANY private women's spaces (aside from just, you know, that they're men) is that the act of them deciding to go into these spaces disrespects women's boundaries, and men who don't respect women's boundaries are dangerous, full stop. They're showing us who they are, and who they are are men who don't listen to a woman's no. The TIMs that would be safer in private women's spaces are the ones who stay the hell out because they don't want to invade where they aren't welcome/wanted.

Because men can't empathise, because seeing strange men's penises is just an ordinary, everyday matter for them e.g. when using a urinal. They can't appreciate how deeply upsetting it is for a woman. Compare their understanding of rape: since it is possible for their own bodies to be forcibly penetrated, they are much less likely to dismiss women who are traumatised by the experience. (Not that it stops all of them, of course....)

A few weeks ago, Ray Blanchard, the man who coined the term autogynephilia, retweeted a tweet showing a photo of Thomas in a woman's bathing suit that revealed how much of Thomas's butt it exposed and said that many men with AGP also are exhibitionists. But he pointed out that they body parts they get off on flashing aren't necessarily their dicks and balls - or solely their dicks and balls.

It made me think of the TIMs on the most recent season of "I Am Jazz." In every scene, the guy Sander dated and TS Madison always had their gigantic chest implants popping out of their tops and smack in everyone's faces - even more than, say, Blaire White does in his videos. And their clothes all were cut to bring attention to their clearly augmented asses too. This kind of display is really male-sexed behavior. Reminds me of what peacocks and other birds do.

Omg i noticed that too! Those two TIMs are outrageous lmao one looks like a 7 foot linebacker with two melons strapped to his chest, absolutely ridiculous and Sander seems actually scared of him. The other one looks like 5 foot but has medicine ball sized fake boobs and ass but very male thin arms. And walks around dressed like a cow.

I had to admit if it wasn't televised child abuse I'd consider watching it for the ridiculousness!

Yes, they are totally obsessed with the fetishization of women's bodies.

I do feel sort of sorry for Jazz, because he's been coached into this from the time he was a toddler. His family is clearly benefiting financially from this nightmare that is now his life.

I'm trying to change what is coming now into my news feed, because it's all about his binge eating. Hell yes, he's binge eating. He's massively unhappy, and if he refuses to do any more television shows about his life, his family is going to disown him.

I can't imagine if my adolescent years were a way for my family to benefit financially from me. That's a huge responsibility. And it's literally been going on since he was 2 years old.

Unfortunately this sort of thing (adults benefiting off a child being entertainment for others) isn't new...I think of so many child stars from my childhood (Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, the Olsen twins, Amanda Bynes) who clearly were being used by their parents as the family breadwinners and have serious mental health issues, drug problems etc. due to it. Jazz is not much different I guess, but obviously the forced body mutilation adds another extra fucked up layer.

2 years old though...god, I can't imagine my child being 2 and convincing myself and my child that they have any idea what the fuck gender and gender identity is and that they fully understand what it means to medically transition. That's fucking grim.

This person is at least a narcissist if not a sociopath. I absolutely believe that he's enjoying flashing his junk in the women's locker room.

Like most TRAs, I think he deeply despises women, and this is a way to get to them.

I fucking hate this guy and everyone who is enabling him.

I’m so fed up with the Twitterverse GCs saying “don’t blame him (they say her half the time), blame the system.”

How about both? Yes, I’m furious at the system for allowing this. Equally, the vast majority of men have the decency, shame, and self-respect not to take advantage of this loophole to rise 400+ spots in the rankings. We can walk and chew gum at the same time. To hell with the NCAA. To hell with William Thomas.

Exactly, William didn’t HAVE to force himself into women’s sports, where he has a major physical advantage. He’s also a disgusting predator who has managed to convince people he’s allowed to disrobe and be present in the women’s changing room.

Wait, why are they saying not to blame him? HE made the choice to "transition" and start competing with women, HE is making the choice of changing in their changing rooms instead of a separate one, even when the issue HAD been brought up before (the girls were told to suck it up or else, as far as I remember). HE is 100% AS MUCH to be blamed as the system. Because HE is the sick fuck who started this particular nightmare for those particular girls. HE is being a sexual predator and a cheat. (I know I'm probably preaching to the choir, but I just can't understand why any GC would not blame the sick fuck.)

Basically, fuck twitter with a rusty rake.

I think the point they are trying to make is that if the NCAA had better rules, Thomas wouldn’t be able to do this. Which is not wrong. But he’s still to blame for choosing to do this, as pretty much every other dude in college swimming is not, even though they too could become world record holders by changing their first names and posing awkwardly in a halter top occasionally.

The women who shake his hand/hug him after his meets and competitions are traitors. Shame on them.

I agree, but I also think those women are victims of an abuse dynamic. Willy is a classic gaslighting abuser, and he has full institutional backing from everyone in power. The women who put up with him feel like they have no choice, because they've been told by everyone that they have no choice. Battered wives often stay with their abusers for years, partly because the abusers have convinced them they have no choice.

The TRAs are going around saying "she's not a super villain, she's just a college kid swimming!"

Absolutely not. On top of being a cheating college kid, his disturbing behavior behind the scenes is very typical of fetishistic TIMs like Yaniv and Ana Valens (or whatever it is called). And his smug face, even when everyone is rightfully disgusted by him taking medals from women, just contributes against the notion that he's "just a college kid" who wants to play sports and also happens to be an awkward dysphoric teen who hates his body.

It has been discussed, but the only people who get to talk about this situation publicly, to the mainstream audience, are men (regardless of opinion -- they can be for Thomas or against him, but they get their opinions into print) and women who support Thomas. The reason the sexual angle isn't being discussed is because I don't think men want to go near it or even think about it and the women are too busy pretending that a man is just like women and therefore can't actually endanger or assault women.

I wonder if the women on his team saw him being allowed to compete without issue and gave up on fighting anything sexual. Look at the excuses made for the WiSpa flasher. It would be near impossible to prove the flashing is intentional with the administration on LT's side.

At least the cheating is out in the open, focusing on it is a compromise.

I have been flashed in public (restaurant) and it felt very violating. I couldn’t handle dealing with reporting it so I told the manager and left. My long term sanity was worth more than him getting a slap on the wrist.

It feels extremely violating and it is extremely violating! Good thing you told the manager.

I've never been flashed, so I can only try to imagine how upsetting and frightening it must be. My mum and sister have been, though.

That the young women competing with Thomas are still able to compete at the top of their game after being traumatised and bullied by that disgusting man is a testament to their prowess and fortitude.
