This is perhaps just a weird personal issue of mine, so I understand if it's not possible to accommodate it. But I try very hard to avoid celebrity news and gossip on almost every single other platform I use, and I find it very jarring to encounter it here. My reason for avoiding it is that I prefer not to know what celebs or famous people are saying about hot topics, because it often tends to ruin my opinion of them, which then prevents me from enjoying their work in the future.

Maybe it's selfish of me, but I like to continue enjoying things without having to think 'well this person is a misogynist' or 'this person has fallen to the trans cult', etc. I'd rather not know. It's one of the main reasons I stay off twitter. I'm not sure how I could even go about ignoring these kinds of posts as they crop up in a variety of 'main circles', but just wanted to put it out there in case.
