Can we block or at least put auto-warnings when people post google doc links? I keep seeing them from twitter and worry that they are a strategy for TRAs to dox us.
Many are not aware that clicking on them can reveal personal info like email addresses, usernames, and location.
Please don't click on google docs from people you do not personally know!
The other side of the coin for this advice is stop leaving yourself logged in to all of your accounts...log out of the account when you're done checking your e-mail or w/e else you're doing.
and/or open an incognito browser window (better still if it’s a browser you don’t already have open) and use that.
Time for me to do my standard Tor pitch!
I would like to remind everyone that the Tor browser helps protect your privacy, is free, and available for desktop computers and Android devices: https://www.torproject.org/
For iOS users, here is an alternative: https://support.torproject.org/tormobile/tormobile-3/
I highly recommend using the Tor browser for any activism-related work, which includes browsing this site.
An interim (I don't know how difficult it would be to put an auto-warning in) could maybe be having some kind of static warning that shows up when people make posts? "Caution: please do not directly link to a google doc, and include a warning if a google doc is linked on the page the link sends you to, click here for more info" with an explainer page on why this is a safety risk. I think some users just aren't aware of this when they share things.

This is really important.
